I agree. Lots of work to be done before they're even sniffing the top 20. Major step backwards this past weekend in Hibbing.

Duluth East hasn't lost a district 11 game in 8 years...They are undefeated this year with the only blemish being a tie against Cloquet back in November. They are 6-0-1 with all their fair play points. There is no way that Hermantown is in first place.scwho? wrote:hermantown is #1 in district 11 [ahead of duluth east]
In Rochester even. If Woodbury hadn't stumbled with Lakeville South they would have taken the top spot. Rochester still has Eagan and Cottage Grove to deal with, both away games for Rochester. By the looks of tourney play they don't like to travel much.HShockey2180 wrote:Woodbury 3, Rochester 2. I believe this is Rochester's first district loss?
I think the talent that comes out of the northern schools is amazing when you look at the numbers there are, in comparison to an Edina, Centennial, Eden Prairie, etc.gopherhockey33 wrote:there is no way northern hockey is better. when was the last time a northern team won the state high school tourney. the tradition may be better but northern team like roseau, warroad, and moorhead and duluth east simple dont match up against centennial, edina, ep, white bear lake, jefferson, etc
