Hastings is really down this year losing both the Stepan boys to Shattuck and St. Thomas and Jared Stewart to graduation. East should win easily.

They have lost alot more then the Stepan boys. Holy Angels, Hill Murray, STA X two, Shattuck. Can you imagine if they would have stuck together!!

At least the supporters of those schools should come down for Rivertown Days and spend some money. I love Hastings it's a great town. I met my wife there.

Worst game east has played in a while they were sloppy and could not put the biscuit in the basket..they got momentum in the 2nd and scored 3 goals then dragged out there in the third when hastings scored two....

East had 39 shots, probs more if the old guys running the clock paid more attention. East didnt have a bad game, Hastings had a good one. East out shot us by 15 or so shots we jus played solid D the whole game besides the flurry of 3 goals East had in the second.

East had quite a WEEK beating 3 very good teams, 2 section battles and
an inter city rival in Denfeld. They were due for abit of a down game after
winning the what last 5 or 6? Hastings was due to step it up after being
killed over and over again.....East now has a week to rest and get
ready for another section game against Forest Lake.
