faribault is overrated
all because they have that one seth kid who thinks he will play for the gophers or something... not gonna happen

Who are the coaches for mankato east and west back in the late 80s they had a guy from silverbay just wondering if he was still there

East- Travis Vanoverbeke.. hes new

West- ken essay and hes been there for a few years

Ken Essay is in his seventh year as the West coach. He played college hockey in Mankato. He is also assisted by former Mavericks Chris Hvinden, Chad Clower and former UMD Bulldog Curtis Doell. They are a group of young coaches who are doing an excellent job of trying to build the West program. West is still a relatively young team this year.

do u go to west or something u seem to know a lot about them and east is even younger they have 5 freshmen on there varsity... one on first line
one on second one on third and two on fourth line west is made up mainly of juniors and sophomores. east also has a new coach this year who is only 24 years old so i would say east is extremely young and maybe in two or three years will have a good program going again.

Synergy, in another thread you stated everybody hates the East coach. Rumor has it some of the young talented players may transfer from East to West where the program seems headed in the right direction. No I do not go to West

ik all of the young talent that goes to east and i have not heard anything about transferring to west they all think that our junior we are gonna be amazing

Paul Ostoff?? He runs the arena and was a coach at one point. He's originally from Silver Bay.
