CDH at Stillwater January 18th

Hmmmmm. Stillwater has got to be confident after the tie with AHA. I like the Ponies in an upset.

stillwater will give up more than 3...they gave up 5 to woodbury who doesn't have an offense like CDH. look for this one to be close at the start but then CDH to dominate late in the game

Woodbury does not have an offense like CDH. Well CDH does not have and offense like AHA. I would not want to say, but Stillwater could put in the upset. They almost did against AHA. If CDH wins, it does not mean anything more than a win. Stillwater played great, the defense was wonderfull. Look out is all I can say...

Will it be McHugh and or Mogren? Both tenders are playing very well this year. When McHugh was a sophomore, he seemed to be the go to guy and he was recommended and played in 2005 Model Camp. Furthermore, he played AHA to a 1-1 tie. Mogren has been seeing the majority of the time in nets thereafter including 2006 Model Camp. Both of them appear to have a .920 - .930 save % if MaxPrep is accurate this year however, Mogren has played roughly twice as many games as McHugh.

McDonagh and Kieffer or listen to LaPanta and Gorg. I think I will head out to St. Croix Valley as this should be a good one. Stillwater is tough in their barn.

CDH totally shut down Stillwater after the first period and reduced their offense to dump and chase. CDH scored most of their goals on neutral ice turnovers. McHugh was pulled after giving up a softy.

Hickey had a hat trick and set up another with a very nice play. He seems to be back to form and was flying all over the ice. McDonagh was a force and I thought Drew Darwitz on D had a great game. Every pass Darwitz made was right on the tape.

Hall of Famer, predictions like that one get you tossed out of hall. Stillwater has good D? Doesn't sound like it

I don't know if Stillwater has good D. I would think in the case of the AHA game solid team D was employed. Keep in mind, Housley is their coach. He knows a thing or two about hockey.

D systems, and traps can be overcome if a team has D that can handle the puck. CDH definately has D that can handle the puck. Plus, very good offensive power. Too much firepower for the ponies.
