As Dangler said Tartan had a well fought game. They were down 2-0 after the 1st. They sucked it up and did what they had to do. There getting back to how they were playing earlier this year. They pretty much dominated the whole game. Shots were 36-Tartan 26-Mahtomedi. Good game overall. It was fun to watch.

That's nice, a well fought conference game. Anyone have a box score?

Tartan is pretty unpredictable this year.. If they come to play they can beat a LOT of good teams.

Tartan could have given up after a the 1st when it was 1-0 Simley. They dug down and found a way to put in 2 goals. Well fought battle. There were way too many penalties called. Tartan had about 10 and Simley about the same. Overall good game by the Titans. I'm anxious to see how they do against Mahtomedi on Saturday.
Tartan fans gotta lay off their team for awhile, honestly. You talk about how Tartan could've packed it up down 1-0 in the first period to a 4-11-0 team in Simley. How is this an accomplishment? I guess I fail to see how this is a good game for Tartan. They will get whipped on saturday by the zephs they way they are playing now.

Mahtomedi 4

3-2 Titans win
! HOORAH !
Good game by the Titans it looked like. I commend those guys on the comeback effort. Although this is a solid win, Tartan has got to play better if they are going to stay in the top 4 in the CSC and make any noise in sections. This win was the first of a challenging 4 game stretch that includes both Hill and STA, and a scrappy, hard nose Richfield team. If they can go 2-2 over the trip it would be impressive, I can't see them going 4-0 or 3-1, but I do think 1-3 is likely.

Great game by Tartan. Game winner was scored by Thompson, he worked hard ALL game. They got that refuse to lose leadership from their seniors and captains. Two really hard played games in a row.
