Nothing against the rest of the teams in the section, but Warroad has Marvin.

Might as well throw out the records here! If its in EGF, I take the wave... home crowd, lots to prove! Otherwise I take Warrod!

Isn't this basically the same thread as the Toss Up thread?

Same can be said for DL and Crookston. Not to mention the rest of the section. I agree with schwanger on this one add the poll to the toss up thread.

I do believe it is goin to come down to EGF and WARROAD last year EGF came into the section tournment under .500 and ended up losing to trf in the semi-finals in OT. I don't expect them to lose that game this year.

Not this year

Post by TTpuckster »

As much as I would like to see EGF    go to state,
they just do not have it this year.

New coach, inconsistent play.

It's gonna be Warroad.

First of all, TRF won 4-3 in regulation, and secondly that EGF team last year is much better than this years team. The record doesn't show it, but in february that team was right there with TRF and Warroad.

Crookston could possibly steal a win in sections, but I do not see them going to state. The section is still a toss up though.

The section is a complete toss up but when it comes down to it there will only be 3 teams in the end with a chance- Warroad,TRF, and EGF. The rest of the teams dont have the experience in the section finals that these 3 have had over the last 10 years. Another plus for EGF is that it is in their barn which will help them a ton. This could get a little hairy!

I think we will have a rematch of last years Section Championship game. In fact I think the outcome will be the same also, Thief will be headed south in march!

The next two weeks will be very interesting. Who will step up as the front runner? EGF has a very tough schedule and if they can steal a game or two this week it may give them some much needed confidence on the other hand if they get blown out a time or two their season is over In my opinion. Warroad is the front runner right now with Crox and TRF in the Mix. It is going to be a fun next three weeks until sections. Buckle up and hold on it is going to be a rough ride.

AND THATS'S THE BOTTOME LINE.

I am going to have to say EGF, because you can not come into their house with their home crowd and expect to beat us. There is just no chance, I am going to say EGF vs Warroad in championship

Most think it will come down to War, TRF, and EGF, but i like the chances for whichever team can make it to the semifinal game with whomever. A Crook, DL, PR, or LOW could steal one and sneek their way into a section final, and then who knows???
