They didn't show up to play

Edina dominated the whole game, it was in jefferson's zone for pretty much the entire game.

Thanks for the update on the games - your right - the Jefferson team I saw at the Midwest tournament didn't show up to play today. Edina skated circles around the defense - I showed up to see a real competitive game and left disappointed. This Jefferson team has really been a hard-working team this year; easily the most deserving when their game is on.

The 1st line offense of 8/13/18 is Smokin'.... From what I've seen they have earned most the goals for the Jaguars - easily a Bantam A calibur. Their line was caught a few times today not on their game, but number 18 has an incredible & fast/smooth stride, with wheels to the net to catch #13's incredible passes. They are fun to watch. Today's #13 blasted a hornet with what could be considered a 'barn burner' clean check and the zebra's called him for ruffing - just the kind of call that kills us old guys! That kid has hands and potential like no other on this team - clearly under-rated in this program from what I caught of the Bantam A game right after.

Most impressive was the goalie who took dozens of shots and kept the score from being more lop-sided for this team. He has great instincts and a quick glove. No doubt we'll see more of him too. I think they play Edina White next from what I heard in the stands. Should be a good game...if the boys show up to play!

moorhead b1

Post by Edinawhite3 »

moorhead bantam b1 team has a very solid team. I watched them play minnetonka and they dominated most of the game. They have three key players # 11 their assisstant captain just dangles it up and scores all the time. # 3 works with # 11 and is a sniper and stud. # 7 is just a butcher. watch ur back cause he gets out there and kills kids. he has a bomb slapper.

i have heard nothing good at all about moorhead bantam b1. if you want to see some bruisers, go to an edina white or edina green game. also, there are some kids that can hit in ep, number 14 on ep black and number 17 on ep red. number seventeen doesnt have a lot of skill but number 14 on ep black can score.

Tonka

tomASS is right; BB1's are predictably unpredictable.

Tonka turns a close game (1-0) after 2 into a 6-0 rout.

Congrats Tonka well done!! I like it any time anyone beats Edina
Ya took em to the woodshed for a good ol' fashion whooping
must a been a big can of whoop-a** ya opened

Dang - Jefferson, I was hoping for you to stumble.
Oh well it makes the future Chaska game more important

Too bad Waconia's hockey association did opt for this team to be B2- their team works hard and never gives up. They would have been more of a force at that level and the kids would have enjoyed more success.

No Tonka fans... tonight's score is NOT included. Expect THAT one to have an effect on next week's rankings.

Also - I upped the minimum game count to 17, thus no Moorhead.

Pioneer, I love the rankings... But, EP Red goes 5-0 since last weeks poll, including a win over Burnsville and they LOSE 3 full computer points.

Edina has lost to EP Black, EP Red (Twice) and Thunderbay

EP Red lost to Centenial Red and Edina White
