Buffalo-White

They have a couple of league games this weekend so I doubt they would be able to play in the EP tourney as well.

EP definatly has the home team advantage being the in the bracket with 3 other not so great teams...the real championship will be chaska vs. edina if things work out.

EP vs. Chaska

Post by IceMan99 »

EP for sure has the home advantage, as all teams do in their home tournaments (i.e. Edina), in playing the three weaker teams. However this does not mean if they get to the championship that they did not deserve it. I would like to see a EP Chaska championship, rematch of Sunday nights league game which saw EP up 2-0 after 2 periods and their goalie falling apart and letting in 3 goals and then an empty netter to end the game 4-2. EP was playing with Chaska, they beat them through 2 periods so if you say Chaska should be in the championship then EP deserves it too.

Championship:
Chaska 2
DesMoines 1

3rd Place Game:
Eden Praire 4
Edina 3(In OT)

The brawl was between Chaska and Des Moines, props Chaska, in my opinion you guys won.

yea chaska may have won the brawl even though its nothing really to be proud of, but it might have cost them their only goalie for the rest of the year. he was the only player on both teams to get a match penalty which usually results in a year suspension. pretty weird how the refs could pick him out of everyone when he didnt throw a single punch. this could ruin chaska's chances for the state championship.

if it is true that the goalie got a match then he must go in front of the district board within 30 days of it happening. We had a player go through a match this season and he will return next week after missing 8 games ( 3 for fighting and another 5 for the match). From what I have heard from one of our coaches is that Chaska was the best team he has seen all season.

yea he goes in front of the board tommorrow but if he gets 8 games our goalie will miss a big game against tartan and the 1st game of the playoffs...i dont think he would get 8 games though, he didnt through any punches and wasnt the instigator so i dont know i guess we will find out more tomorrow.

Franchise, Is that a paid position?
And
Wingman, why does it matter who it was? He served his time and went in front of the board and is now re-instated.
