Edina has to play three back to back games all at home first against Hopkins, then Cloquet, and then Minnetonka. Its going to be excited to see how it all folds out. I think Edina will beat cloquet 3-2..

This is goign to be a very intense fought battle. Both teams have the skill to put the puck away. The game will go to who wants it more and who plays the best defense.

CEC - 4

Edina - 2

Edina continues to impress. Got to give them a lot of credit. They have played at a high level most of the year.

I was there and felt that Cloquet was not playing real well. Their goalie, Ellingson SP?, played real well and kept them in the game. They seemed to be a step away from their passes and shots. Edina on the other hand looked good, they were able to really move the puck inside which allowed them to score. Edina was shorthanded and played a very aggressive forecheck that got them a real nice goal. My guess is that CEC was a little off tonight. I have read a lot about them so to see them not play well was kind of a disappointment. Fun game to watch...

Well said. Cloquet appeared to be out gunned tonight. Without Ellingson coming up huge on many occasions this game could have been much more lopsided. They failed to click on their passes and were often trapped in their own end. Give Edina credit, they were definitely the better team tonight.

Edina might have a little let down tommorow night vs Minnetonka. I wouldn't be surprised if the Skippers give em all they want.
