I'm so sick of all these moorhead kids coming onto the forum and talking themselves up. They make screen names for other cities, and try to hide that they really are from moorhead. About 1/2 of the topics on this board are all about moorhead, and no one cares about any of them. Did everyone on Moorhead Hockey decide to all make screen names at one time, and only comment about themselves?
Why don't you guys talk amongst yourselves about how good you are instead of doing it on this forum and try to make others believe you are as great as you say you guys are?

Hate to break it to you guys, but Moorheads program is on a downslide ( except hs) and you will be for a very long time. Your youth teams are not proving much this year, so it just goes to show you what you have to look forward to. 
A little bit of info for ya, when you guys come on here and run your mouths, all your doing is adding fuel to the fire and making teams wanna beat you even more. Hate to bring you Moorhead folks some bad news, but no one is scared to play you guys anymore. They hear "spuds" and start to laugh.

BTW, I seem to remember posts for the past three years about "Moorhead is on a downslide" and Roseau is the king of the north. You were wrong then and you are wrong now. And before you reply and accuse me of being "one of them", I will tell you right now, I am not from moorhead and never played hockey for them. I just can not believe the SPUD ENVY on this board.

Envy??? No. Sorry to burst your bubble but that is not what it is. How can you sy your not "one of them"??? Look at your name!! Maybe you dont live there and maybe you never played there, but your name says everything we need to know. You are "one of them" whether it be a fan or a player. Also, please tell me how many times have you watched their youth teams play this year??? If you have watched them as much as I have, I would have to think that you would agree with what I said. As for you and Roseau?? You should be better than them. Look at the sizes of the 2 towns. I never once said that they were not gonna compete in the north, what I said was the programs future doesnt look that good. Will they compete in the north, yes they should, look at who they have to beat. Should they compete with the rest of the state?? Sorry, but I just dont see it. In the past, the good Moorhead teams would just roll their opponents and look how their hs teams did. Pretty darn good if you ask me. As of late, they are not rolling tams and are getting beat more often than in the past and getting beat by teams that are average hockey teams and not to mention getting pounded by SOME of the cities teams, where in the past those games would have been much closer often times with the spuds getting the W. Well everyone knows im from moorhead but every year the bantams and pewees dont do to well in moorhead but in highschool we dominate. I dont know if its the coaching or what but the program is deffinently not on a downfall. We'll see when it really counts in VFW state.

How can you say that every year your Bantam and Peewees dont do very well??? Being your from moorhead, then you go into their rink more than anyone. That being said what is hanging all over in the lobby area??? Banners!! Your teams of the past have been VERY good. Best team ive ever seen play from there is the jr and sr class from this years hs team. So answer me this. How do you guys compare to that team??? Not good at all. Point is, teams in the past used to use their game against moorhead as a measuring stick about how good their team was going to be in that particular season. That isnt going on anymore and I think that it is just a hard pill for you guys to swallow.

ill give you the answer to this one real quick moorehead looks really week at the youth levels right now. the hs team moorhead has right now won maha and vfw state bantam tourneys so dont tell me they were weak???? but as for the future for moorehead no problem they will figure out away to weed through the fargo players and get them to moorehead.. those fargo youth teams are extremely strong right now matching any of the top teams from minnesota. if moorehead dont recruit they wont see state after this year unless a fluck happens for a long time..

I never said that team was weak, I said it was the best Moorhead team ive seen in 20 some years of watching and playing against them. I dont think they have been weak in the past, MOST of those years, they were always contending for winning state. As for bringing kids over the river to play, dont you think its a little sad that they would have to depend on that??? Not to mention, There isnt a whole lot of good blood between Fargo/Moorhead. I just dont see kids from Fargo jumping ship to go play for some team that they have playing against since squirts.
