sorry to be a pest meeeee boyLetsrepresent19 wrote:one thing to say.
im ready..
But remember; actions always speak louder than words - let your passing, skating, checking, back checking, shooting, and making your teammates around you better speak loud and clear.
WBL orange will be an extremely good team that wants to earn more respect.
I hope you are!

Same as under the B1 review:
Blueblood is the new Jimmy The Greek
White Bear Lake Orange 6
Chaska 4
WBL scores 3 on first 5 shots of the game to start the game 3-0
Two were on 3-1 odd man rushes and one was on a breakaway.
The other goals were on a 2-0, a point blank shot from a man wide open in the slot, and the final goal on a stop made on another point blank shot with the rebound slammed home.
Chaska did have 3 clankers of the metal and 2-3 wide open shots go wide (but I don't think those go on scoreboard do they)
Chaska found it difficult skating and passing with the severe aerodynamic drag from some large heads slowing them down tonight.
WBL came ready to play, out skated the Hawks most of the game and what was really impressive was the way they played the body. There were more perfectly executed finishes of body checks tonight than I have seen all year. Good clean hard checks where the player took the right angle and just made sure the check seperated the man from the puck.
WBL earned the victory over a Chaska team that did not even come close to resembling the team from Tuesday night. Guess it was the ugly sister's turn to play tonight.
Congrats WBL well done! We needed that lesson taught to us tonight.

I wouldn't say that Jefferson has a cake-walk, they produce with atheoneandonly wrote:jefferson 7, Lakeville north 4
jefferson came out and layed an egg, they were down 4-3 goin into the third but then they pulled it together and picked up 4 goals for the win.
Hopkins 3, Anoka 1
ice-pounding first line of 2nd years and their second and third lines are just above average when they aren't on their game. When they all come to play, I don't think anybody except good ol' Edina could hold them back. Chaska for sure hasn't improved to the degree that these boys have. It's the self confidance and focus they seem to lack on bad days.
From what I saw at the Midwest tourney, these are fantastic skaters (#13, #8 and #18 for forwards and #17 and #19 on d). These guys have more passion and skills on this team than the Bantam A team....but unfortunately the Jaguar program is infiltrated with political aspirations of father's who can afford buying off the coaches. This isn't something new, just more exposed in my estimation. Whatever happen to names on the jerseys for the blue-crew...I like the new "old" style jerseys but I miss the names.
Speaking of coaches - who are these young guys on the bench? I haven't seen them before this year, but I love the passion and 'old school' style coaching I've seen out of them. They aren't afraid to get in the face of bad ref'ing...which I sure saw at the Edina game (but yes, the Hornets outskated them handily).
When does Jefferson play this weekend? I'd like to catch a few games to see if my money is where my mouth is.
