Does nobody read what I write at all? I never said this years Fergus team is Elite, I continually say that LF is the class of this years 4a. I'm not a Fergus player an avid fan, but not a player.
Josh Anderson and Ryan Miller, do you even know who they are? Both played D1 hockey Anderson @ St. Lawrence and Miller @ Bemidji State. Both were captains by their Jr. Seasons. I've seen Festler play and I've seen these 2 players paly, I'll take Anderson and Miller.
I would not take any current FF players over Festler, I would take Koski over Hanowski though. I know you're going to disagree with me and I don't need to hear your reasons why I'm crazy.

so how do you guys feel about tech's victory over fergus?? how do you think tech will finish off their season?
Right on top shelf. I am as big of a LF Flyer fan as anyone but there is no way any of you can make a better case for LF than Brainerd. Sure Brainerd lost 2 games they should have won but in all honesty the Flyers should have beaten Virginia and they should have beaten Brainerd. The Flyers knocked the Brainerd starting goalie out in the second period of their game and only scored twice (I think it was) on a backup who hasn't seen a ton of playing time this year. They also shot themselves in the foot with all of their penalties that game but I think when Brainerd has their starting goalie in they are better than LF. I mean come on, Brainerd played tough double A competition like Elk River, Blaine, Grand Rapids, Cretin Derham Hall, and Duluth East and the only game they let get out of hand was the 6-1 loss they endured from Duluth East. With how Little Falls has been playing defense, if they played any of those teams they wouldn't be able to close the flood gates. LF has been playing atrocious defense as of late. Ok, maddangles time to bring it again. Fergus Falls did have a decent team in 2001 and 2002 and Miller, Anderson, and Perry were good but they weren't as good as Hanowski is as a sophomore. They were good juniors and did play against tougher competition than Festler has his junior year but Festler very well could be better than all three of them were as juniors. By the way, can you tell me why none of those 3 were playing juniors their senior year like Festler and Hanowski could be? I understand that you like your hometown team and will defend them and take Koski over Hanowski and Miller and Anderson over Festler but it does seem a little wacky when you think of it. (I do respect the devotion you have to your team and I like it) I still don't believe Festler and Hanowski are drop your jaw outstanding yet but now that I think of it, if they are getting offers to play juniors and D1 teams are recruiting them and they didn't do too bad in the elite league something has to be up. You compare two kids from 2001 to two kids playing in 2006. The kids playing in 2006 will end up at TOP-TIER D-1 teams. The two kids from 2001 ended up at mediocre D-1 teams.
Bob Motzko is arguably the best recruiting coach in D-1 hockey. I don't think he would take someone like Festler if he wasn't that good.
I know Miller was good. I saw him play and always looked forward to seeing him play. But there is no way I can buy that those Fergus teams had more offensive fire power than this Little Falls team...there is just no way.

Maybe you are right. I saw them play Sauk Rapids not too long ago, Wadena, and Tech. Maybe it was all of the hype and hearing about how good they are that got my sights a little too high. I do believe they are very good players but when I go they do put on some good moves and everything but maybe I have my expectations too high after hearing about these 4 goal or 4 assist games they have had. I am just saying when I go to games they look like other players I have seen that were very good but not crazy good yet. Do you really think I am Mr. Couture? I am just a hardcore High School Hockey fan that Couture could beat by 5 laps if we took part in a 5 lap race around an ice arena. It is true that I am highly educated considering I graduated from a high school that had to shut down the library for a year to save money. I love the Flyers but unlike maddangles, I know when my team was beaten straight up and when another team is better then them. I know my team was beaten straight up, there were no excuses either. Excuses are "the ref's were bad" "Our team played poorly", what I said about the game that was what 2 wks ago? was mentioned one or two bounces that could've gone the other way. If you're so educated, try reading correctly.

I had a bad experience with my cousins and I have been afraid of playing hockey ever since. I don't even know if I can still do it, or is it one of those things like riding a bike where you never forget?
