The middle stanza is what killed them in both the Roseau and the Moorhead games this year. Warroad came out strong in both games and played great in the first period and parts to most of the third, but that second period was brutal in both games. And as far as the TV timeouts go, Aaron Marvin is in good enough condition that he could probably play the entire game and still have enough energy to be better than 95% of the rest of the players in the state.
~ Also you cant win a game with 1 or a few good players... your hole team has to work together and be STRONG! ~

5-3 Final score.

~ I think Tyler Landman got at least one... i dont know alot about the scoring but i know there were quite a few penalties called tonight alot on Roseau's Sam Carr ( truck ) and 2 for one of Roseau's former players, the goalie for Warroad #32. Dane Shagubay ( spelling??? ) got Warroads 1st goal i think...

Not a very impressive win for the Rams. This is supposed to be a fast, passing, finesse, team. This game was slap the puck around and fight for rebounds. Maybe Warroad forced them to play this way and you can say Roseau showed they can play that kind of hockey, but there's no way they can get past Moorhead looking like that. Lee did not look that impressive either.

So who was the Warroad player who "cheap shotted" Moser towards the end of the 3rd? Looked like a nasty "knee job"......he could hardly get off the ice.

Hockeyfan4,
You are correct and I might have led people astray on this. In 2001 the Rams won by 2-1 & 6-0. I screwed up reading my own research. Kind of sad I guess.

~ Bud were you there? Most people i talked to said he did a pretty darn good job... heck we came out with a VICTORY... I thought he really had his head in the game when he skated out from the net and pushed the puck out of our zone!
