I hope Elk River plays Braindead in that 4/5 game. Give East the #1 seed, and the fan alliance will be alive an well on Semi-final Saturday. Also, for as much smack as the Brainerd fans have put on the board about that 2-1 game 5 decades ago, I hope for that reason alone there is a rematch in the qaurters.

I think most of you on this fine forum would agree that the top 3 teams in this section are Duluth East, Cloquet & Rapids (not necesarily in that order)

but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that one of those teams is going to get upset in the quarter finals

I would agree with you there Syd. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if 2 of those teams went down in the quarters. The difference between the top 5 or 6 teams isn't that big. Some good hockey comin' up.

Problem with that is the 1 will play 8/9.....2 will play 7/10......3 will play 6....so the five won't have any effect on the quarter finals!
