O'Donnell may have just put the nail in the coffin with his 2nd goal of the game, 3-0 Jags.

O'Shea gets pulled for Eastview and Benner goes in net.

Not in Section 6. They're still well behind Edina and BSM and Chaska, EP, and Tonka are all bigger contenders than Jefferson. Nice to see them playing better though, Levine and O'Donnell are a fun pair to watch.

Wake up man, seriously.

I second BB's comment's about Levine and O'Donnell. Very fun to watch. I was also impressed with #9 Scott for Jefferson, I thought he played a great game as did the rest of the Jags. Congrats to Swansson on the shutout. He was a wall in net.

One of the best games I have seen Jefferson play all season. They dominated all 3 periods, goaltending was solid and of course O'Donnell and Levine stole the show with 2 goals a piece.

Congrats to Jefferson on a very well played game.

It's obvious the Young Jags are starting to believe in themselves if they can continue to tighten up their defense they may be able to ride that first line a ways in the playoffs.
I still think the goaltending will get them in the end though.

No great teams in the Lake is an understatement.

Providence for Levine?

TomtheBomb, you must be an Eastview fan... only they could call this game boring.

And if you're calling Princeton boring for Levine, I think a little jealousy is present. It's only an Ivy league school with a good hockey team. But that's boring right?

I hate Eastview. And I'm not too keen on Jefferson either. But I watched a bit of the game for entertainment purposes and I ended up switching back to the Oilers/Avalanche game because it was bo-ring.

A game tends to be boring when you're not a fan of either team. Also, maybe I can see where you're coming from because Jefferson controlled the entire game.

Overall, I thought the freshman goalie played well for EV. He could be very good as a senior. Also, I was glad to see Dan Faust get some ice time. He is a Greenway boy.

Very true. But if Jefferson was playing really great or doing some fun things I still would have liked it, but I thought what stood out more is how bad Eastview really is. They made Bloomington look good.

Get back to your Guitar Hero game, Tom(Bo-ring.)

Superfan- The only thing Tom's a fan of is making ignorant statements(even if they aren't true) and creating posts in a place where they don't belong because he's so attention starved. He's not too keen on the Jags, he just comments on every single thread that involves them. He's funny like that.

How bad eastview is...what are you talking about? Eastview isnt that bad this year, but they arent the best. And Jefferson isnt that great this year, face it they arent always going to be the best team in Lake. Both teams are very young right now, and need more experience of playing at a varsity level.

boblee I agree with ya bud. fausty works his tail off out there.

also, do you guys think pulling the goalie for eastview was a good move? the other goalie wasnt better and the goals the freshman gave up werent too bad. and it was on t.v. a little embarassing for the kid eh?

Schwang- good call, obviously TomtheBomb is the bo-ring one.

I'm not saying Jefferson is the best team in the Lake by any means, or that Eastview is awful, the whole point of this thread is to talk about the GAME, which Jefferson was much better than Eastview. The freshman goalie played decently... it's the other one that was having some real trouble.

Faust is listed as a JV defenseman in the program I have. When did he get moved up to forward on Varsity? I think I heard them say this was 1 of his first games or something but I wasn't sure. I thought he played well.

As far as the Eastview goalie getting pulled, it was obviously to light a fire under his guys and an attempt to change the momentum. It didn't work. It seemed to get worse after the switch. Maybe a bit embarrassing for O'Shea, but he certainly didn't play bad at all and shouldn't be embarrassed. He's only a freshman, and I expect we'll hear more of him in the next few years.

When the team came up to Rapids he dressed but didn't see a shift.

faust has played 2-3 games at varsity and now is up on the first line at forward with levine and t.o. dangerous line, but not much depth on that team.

and yeah, im sure o'shea will get another chance to play on FSN, he has 3 years after this.
