Blaine 3
North Metro 0
North Metro is a team full of hacks and other than Wentland I have no respect for them at all. Langseth played pretty good to keep the game as close as it was. The Stars were outshot 46-8. The Bengals have a tough week in front of them as they travel to Maple Grove on Thursday and Elk River on Saturday before the Centennial matchup on the 15th. Should be fun to watch.

This was an interesting game on Saturday night (Blaine/NM). I have to say I dont think I have been to a game with that many big open ice hits or big hits in the corners. However I thought there were times the officials may have lost a little control of the game with some questionable calls or no calls on things like icing and when they would and wouldnt blow the whistle. It wasnt a bad first period but midway in the second it got chippy and than the third was close to a free for all in the calls and play...Good game though NM played a good game over all but Blaine did dominate. Both teams had chances on 5-3's and other opportunities....

Huh? A bunch of cry babies? Please explain this comment, they are one of the biggest hitting teams in the conference and someone with more than the 2 cent brain that you have can back me up. Also, if you are talking about the game on Saturday, everytime one of your goons (#'s 33 and 37) laid a "big" hit on someone they immediately skated off to the bench. They looked really tough doing it thoughAdamSchmidtismyhero wrote:BigSexy stfu your blaine bengals are a bunch of cry babies, they dont even know how to take a hit. And as far as respect for Wetland, the only person he cares about is himself he deserves no ones respect. He cant even play the game both ways.

And one more thing, what's Blaine's record? They have nothing to cry about.

Any word on the make up game for Blaine with NM? That game could come down to determining a Conference champion could it not? How exactly does that work if Blaine was to lose to Centennial again but they still finish with the same record? Title share or since Blaine would have 2 losses to the Cougars they get second with the same record?
I'm not certain but I believe they are playing the make up game on the Tuesday after their final game with CR. Also, if they end up with the same record, I don't think head-to-head results are looked at. I think they just declare a co-championship. Anyone know for sure?

Didn't someone post earlier that Blaine posted nearly 45 shots to NM 6 in the game last Saturday? You have to expect that if NM is to even stand a chance they might need to double or even triple that shot total to even attempt to put up a fight. Also if the Bengals decide that maybe shooting the puck on a power play is a good idea instead of passing constantly; and then crash the net for rebounds they might score a couple more goals than the 3 they scored last Saturday.

P.S. Pucksluts don't love goons they love it when the guys score. (oops can I say that on here)

i don't know why some of u are proud to support the north metro. in their game vs. blaine last saturday, they didn't even try to play hockey. they just went for big hits, and most of them were cheapshots. blaine dominated the entire game both schoring and with quality hits. next time these 2 teams face, maybe north metro should focus on hockey and not embarass themselves.
