Champlin... real classy.
Does that make it 0-27 all time for Champlin?
I believe it's 0-26. Is there any question that Brodhag made the right decision??? The Champlin Park bench was quite a sideshow. What a joke.
0-26 is how many times Champlin Park has beaten Elk River going back to 1994-95, when Champlin Park opened. Why did their coach leave Jaeger in the net when the game was out of hand? What a d-bag.
Looks like the sarsland era is over at ER since the open enrollment is over...and brodhag is the biggest sellout in the state of minnestoa after champlin park elected him as captain of their hockey team and he backstabs his entire team... what a prick.
Last timeis looked Elk River's A Bantams were ranked #7 in LPH. The B team was in the top 10 and A PeeWee and A Squirts are very good. Looks like the homegrown are ready to step up. Brody left the Rebels because he didn't want to be captain of a classless program.

Get a life! this kid left champlin so he could play on a team that actually cared about hockey and not just throwing a big check and spitting on refs.

Now he plays for real coach with a real team around him, not just a bunch of hacks.
its not the champlin players that spit on tthe refs so dont say they werent classy for the most part champlin was in the box but there really wasnt any cheap shot thrown just little hacks and things like that dont over do it there buddy , o yea big thirst nice number 20 jersey you were wearin last night i dont think you could skate on the ice without breakin it

things did get outta hand and champlin did look classless last night but what has elk river always been known for. they have not always been the classiest teams and fans , there fans have some really dirty chants and such lets not point this all in one direction

I don't ever recall an Elk River fan spitting on an official. I don't ever remember Elk River fans wearing anything to a game close to "Brody Blows" with an arrow pointing down. There is a fine line you can't cross in high school sports and Elk River fans get that. Thats both games this year that kids from Champlin have been kicked out or suspended over. Just a real class act.
Brodhag left Champlin Park for two reasons (at least) - #1. The CP team does not improve as the season goes on. They play a team close the first time, (win or lose), but later in the year, or second time around, they get outworked and worked over on the scoreboard. There is no doubt that CP is the most penalized team in the NWSC. CP had three 10-minute misconducts, 2 bench penalties and another 27 minors last night (both games). Add it up - 94 minutes of boxtime in 96 minutes of hockey. #2. He didn't want to play for Coach Bailey (read #1 again).

Well I guess last night score of 9-3 answers my question. I can't believe Brodhag stayed as long as he did with Champlin after that showing of hockey, coaching, and the fans. Completely embarassing for Champlin Park. The team have no discipline, the coaching staff have no discipline, and the fans have no discipline. This program is in dire need of change, maybe a new coaching staff could change this lack of discipline.
hey if you dont know anything about the champlin coaches then dont say anything , before this year bailey had a bad rep with the kids but this year alot of kids ahve started to like and understand him and alot more kids have started to respect him, that was one game that got out of hand give me a break

The kids probably like him because they dont get disaplined. they do anything they want and nothing happens to them. plus the coach has some very good talent coming through there but cant do anything with it.
For example the Fulton brothers left (all 3) Jake Bauer left early and now broadhog leaves early. theres something wrong with that picture because there all great players.
Brandon brodhag is only doin what is absolutely neccesary to further improve his game and his high school hockey experience. Ask yourself what you would do in his position.Would you simply settle for an at best average team, school, and coaching staff...or would you try to find the best situation possible and play for not only an amazing coaching staff but also become part of a great community, who loves and RESPECTS the game...obviously he(brodhag) loves to play hockey...he's following a path prove to work in the past....ie..Eric Wendell former golpher and semi-pro hockey player transfering from park center to maple grove or Chris johnson current player for the university of connecticut transfering from park center to elk river.....its just like the movie the field of dreams...if you build it, they will come...Sarsland has built it and the ones that truely have a love from the game have and will continue to come.
yea any good player can transfer to be on a better team etc.. but some kids stay to play for their home team with there buddies that they grew up playin with

for the most part the game last night was not very cheap the penalties were all little hooks there was no big slashes , a few big hitsbut they were pretty clean
I can't believe anyone is arguing against Brodhag's decision to transfer to AHE. Think about it, put yourself in his position. The whole program has nothing going for them. There is no reason for him to stay in CP when he had the chance to leave. The program has no class, they are an embarassment to the conference. Even if he grew up playing with these kids, he obviously understood that he is above their behavior and didn't want to be brought down to their level. Plus I'm sure Big Thurst wined and dined him a little .

Brodhag didn't grow up playing with most of these guys. He played in the Brooklyn Park association. Obviously it was good thing that he didn't play in the Champlin association, otherwise he might have never made this decision and he wouldn't be the hockey player he is today. The turnout of hockey players from the champlin association have been a bunch of hacks who barely have any skill or understanding of the game (except for a few exceptions like the Fultons and Bauer).

Herzog jr 10g 20a 30p
Jaeger jr goalie... not gonna get in the stud argument but his stats are good.
