Youth hockey scoring is almost always inaccurate. Many times the refs do not give goals to the proper players(officially)and either give assists to the wrong player or to no one at all. How many times have you seen a 3 on 2 great passing play, only to hear the ref say "#9, all alone"? You can't have a true total unless you're a complete stat geek, or you have one watching you at all times. Personal points are irrelavent anyways, it should be about the team.

Long passes make it very hard to get the assist right. The goals are 99% of the time right. Also kids with tucked in jersys makes it really hard to get numbers. Tell your kid to untuck the shirt from the breezers!!! The only way to ever have perfect stats would be to film every game and go back and watch it. The NHL reveiws every goal to make sure the right players get their points. Look at what happened in the All-star game. There where 2 assist that where changed.GR3343 wrote:Youth hockey scoring is almost always inaccurate. Charlie Taft - Edina - 60-65 points
Max Gardiner - Minnetonka - 65 points
Caleb Herbert - Jefferson - 60 points
Connor Reilly - Chaska - 70 points
Ryan Reilly - Chaska - 60 points
Brett Patterson - Eden Prarie - 55 points
I talked to different players on each team. Not sure if accurate but pretty close.
