Esse said last year it was a travesty that Rapids wasn't the 1 seed. I wonder how bad Randolph is going to screw us this year.

No I want to see the Championship of Crow Wing County when Brainerd plays Pequot Lakes-Crosslake/Crosby-Ironton (including Emily)/Aitkin/Remer (including Outing)/Pine River-Backus #-o aka Northern Lakes Lighting

Which means regardless of seed the season is over for CEC.
accually you maybe surprised. Rumor is that he's doing some fusion thing every morning and night that helps bone growth so he MIGHT be back for section finals or state tourney.

NOTE: THIS IS WHAT I HAVE HEARD FROM PEOPLE THAT ARE CLOSE FRIENDS WITH TYLER AND HIS FAMILY. NOT FOR SURE. SO DONT TAKE THIS TO HEART OR ANTHING. MEMBER JUST A RUMOR.

Wow, hope choppy knows what he's doing.

...some fusion thing? Sounds like an episode of Dragonball Z. What are him and Dunaisky going to put on some Potara earrings and become Johnaisky or perhaps Dunson?

I don't see that on the schedule. And hawky is right, they haven't beaten Hermantown either and they are a A school... ouch. They haven't beaten Moorhead either and Moorhead can't even win a 'ship.

After tonight:

1. Cloquet
2. Duluth East
3. Grand Rapids
4. Elk River
5. Brainerd
6. Forest Lake
7. Cambridge
8. Andover
9. St. Francis
10. Northern Lakes

1. CEC
2. Randolph (don't be surprised if he still gets #1)
3. Rapids (No one else has proved they have earned 3, plus White injured)
4. Elks ( 2-1 loss at beginning of year means nothing) Elks>>more talent
5. Flake
6. Brainerd (Fergus Falls, Flake, Tech, swept by CEC, pounded by Hounds)
7. Cambridge
8. Andover
9. St. Francis
10. Northern Lakes

Ranks

Post by northwoods oldtimer »

1. Cloquet (earned by a win and tie aginst the best of 7AA)
2. Duluth East (tie with CEC is the bump to the 2 spot)
3. Elk River (earned it by winning)
4. Grand Rapids (deserve a 7 spot)
5. Brainerd (posing like the T-Hawks)
6. Forest Lake
7. Cambridge
8. Andover
9. St. Francis
10. Northern Lakes

Elk River will not need Grapewines fan alliance to match up with the Best out of East. Bounce of the puck will declare the winner in a hotly contested matchup. 7AA matchup could see Grapewines 3 and 22 Chickens up against East but we will have to see how the bored meeting stacks this cast of hockey clubs this season. Flake might just knock off the T-Chicks on their home pond you just never know. If your looking for hot teams there are only 2, East and the Elks, the rest are just posers here in the late season.

Rapids should be satisfied with a number 3 seed. The way they have been playing lately they only deserve a number 4 seed. It appears that Elk River is going to be the suprise winner of the Section. If Rapids draws Forest Lake, they will be one and done.
