Great game saw the game on tv and wondered why FSN was even covering it, expecting East to kill Buffalo. Great game by the Bison. The crowd deffinately helped them out. I dont think this will happen again in section they will be out in the semis.

Congrat's to the Bison they played a great game and exicuted a perfect game-plan against the Hounds. Anyone that has watched East at all this season knows that their defense "as a whole" is their weakness. Thats not saying individuals in that group played poorly. Every time I have seen East play this season their defense has played "below average", even when winning. This was really evident in last evenings game. The Bison played a very physical game which included a strong forecheck in East's zone. This destroyed any of East's ability to move the puck up ice or establish any flow. Buffalo's goalie played a great game and FSN made the right call!

For a developing program like Buffalo, the win was huge. The crowd really helped them out. It is somewhat irrelevent whether it happens again or not, for one night their program took a major step forward. That's why they play the games. :D

Great win for Buffalo. Watched some of it. Looked like the Bison came to play and the Hounds did not.

Who said anything about least having a lock on the #1 seed? They were somewhere below that before losing to the bison.

They were a possible #1 seed. Are you trying to say they will drop to 3? No way.

Looks like I was dreaming a closer game (a 2-1 OT win by Buffalo) than it actually was. You have to dream it first, then believe it, or else it will never happen. The boys from Buffalo believed...

...or maybe Duluth East isn't who we thought they'd be :?:

HOFamer wrote:well guys-all i can say is what a night at the Buffalo Arena. This event was very well organized and I think the FSN crew recognized the sweat equity the Bison Boosters put into the game. I want to thank mike Randolph and the VERY CLASSY kids from DE who came down to play us. They ARE awesome people and Buffalo thanks them. As CNT mentioned Bison only have tonight to relish this victory. Some young kids scored again tonight for the Bison and the future looks pretty bright for the Herd. I will say that when Zitur focuses their isn't a better goalie out there...period. Plus...he's a super nice kid. Rogers will be rockin Thursday night and who knows what the Bison will have left in the tank. However- for those who were calling for run time in this game I hope yor opinion has changed somewhat toward what is fast becoming a pretty good little conference for Hockey. CNT let's meet for a beer..it would be fun after all these insults.

were you the poster who bashed east earlier, called them arrogant and
said randolph recruit and you don't? could be wrong, will have to go
back and check previous post, changed your tune...east kids ARE classy
buffalo had a hot goalie, east didn't seem to care to come to play
