Moorhead at Hill Murray 2/17
Great game for the last day of the season. What are some predictions for this game?
I think
Moorhead-3
Hill-2

i havent seen moorhead play this year , but it sounds like they got a solid team as they usually do.. i have seen hill murray play, they have s couple of good players that are usually not mentioned because of there star larson who gets all the hype.. ive seen better high school players then him this year(high school players, that doesnt mean theyd do better in the ushl or college) i do not no what teams moorhead has beaten this year that are good teams, but im still going with the spuds 4-3 ot

Da Spuds will beat this green team with ease. Come Section finals they will be facing a new goalie on a green team they have beat decisively twice. Will the new - sophmore goalie allow the Rams to squeak by and pull off the upset? Lee beat Rapids tonight with 44 saves - 17 in the second period.breakout wrote:I agreeSTC18 wrote:SPUDS 4-2. Should be a dandy, one that FSN should really televise.

I'm gonna take H-M in a nailbiter - mostly because I just found out I have a cousin playing for them. I'm now relegated to taking H-M from here on out, or I'll be thrown out of the family. As a former Governor, this is devistating.
Seriously... I've seen both of these teams against a common opponent (Wayzata), and the Pioneers seemed to be a little more consistent for 51 minutes than the Spuds were, although it seemed that Moorhead had more talent top-to-bottom. It was odd. Moorhead just let up for a while... it may have been because they were playing an afternoon game the day after playing a a night game. Who knows.
I'm done yammering...
H-M: 3
Moorhead: 2
I should be at this game, so I'll be able to post updates.

They dropped Crookston from their schedule a few years back!HShockeywatcher wrote:Just curious if anyone knows why Moorhead only plays 24 games? They are 21-1-1 playing Hill and this is their last game.
