they did have scoring chances but none of them real ligit. they had a total of 16 shots and 2 in the first period.
all im saying is Eagan should have won by a bigger margin than 2-0 but it could've gone the other way just as easily.

Hastings had about 5 breakaways in the second, they out played eagan in that one, but the first and the third belonged to eagan

i was very dissapointed in the referees in the Eagan vs. Cottage Grove game
they made alot of bad calls and missed alot too on both sides. They called off two of Eagans goals from a very very short whistle.
In the last 3 mins they missed 2 obvious trip calls and called an icing when Eagan was shorthanded as they dumped the puck.
it seemed like they were sort of fooling around out there because they were laughing and joking around after every whistle.
i am not blaming it on the refs that the game turned out the way it did. Eagan had plenty of chances to put it away in the last 3 mins and Cottage Grove played good defense.
Overall i am just dissapointed about the refereeing after watching that game.

^ ^ dont be dissapointed, cause it makes it sound like you are whining and are and Egan fanboy. It was a fair game all around, but there was some mistakes on the Refs side, like when they called the icing shorthanded. But those goals that they didnt count was because the egan kid was clearly in the crease, and he was hacking away way after the whistle blew. Egan had plenty of chances to score and its is there own fault they didnt win. They underestimated cottage grove. They had around 30 shots on CG and they couldnt capitolize. It was a good game though
