Jacks are too banged up, too bad since they had such a great start.
Good luck to both teams! I don't know if I'll be able to sleep on my flight Friday night.

Just a prediction. Settle down buddy. Without the empty net goal it's a 2-1 game. I have alot of respect for the Jacks, otherwise I'd predict a large margin.

And you might be cool someday...

Sarsland has said numerous times that he doesn't believe ER should be in 7 or 8 because those should be the Northern sections and a citidiot team should not come out of there. I would love for ER to be back in 4AA and play @ the Coliseum.

Too bad we can't say the same about you, EREmpire.

It will be tough to stop Elk River on Saturday if Cloquet is playing short handed as you all say. I look for an East/Elks final.

I'm thinking that the Jacks will come out ready to play. Remember theres more to the team than just Tyler Johnson.... Obviously the elks will give it there best shot but I'm thinking its not gonna be enough with Roe, Jokinen, Karlsson, and Ellingson... Just to name a few...

Jacks-3

Elks-1 (if they're lucky)

There's no way Cloquet's gonna let an over-rated metro team beat them on their own pond :!:

Sarsland gets outcoached in this one :)

Da 'jacks 4, Da Elkaholics 0 =D>

Look for Cloquet and Rapids in the finals

Sorry EREmpire, but I can't pull for citiots

CEC and the Elks

Post by northwoods oldtimer »

If these boys are healthy Roe, Jokinen, Karlsson I give the edge to CEC. The 'Elkaholics' will battle every step of the way and they have been a fun club to have around the section the past couple years. I say if the boys are healthy than Ellingson proves too much for Sarsland's club. CEC in a 3-2 OT thriller.

What is the word on Roe, Jokinen, Karlsson, and Johnson? Did any of them play in the QF game? Which ones are suiting up on Saturday?

All of them are suiting up. Im 99.9% positive that Johnson is the only one not playing. but he will be on the bench in his gear. and yes Jokinen and Karlsson played in the QF. Not sure why Roe didn't play... Probably cause it was andover... And why not let him rest and be 100% for the Semi's? And Johnson suited up and skated warm ups

Didn't Roe break a bone? You have to be careful about those things. If he plays Saturday, Martell and Slavik will be breathing down his neck.
