On Thursday, February 22nd the number 1 seed Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers (19-4-2) will host the number 8 seed Princeton Tigers (4-20-1 Regular Season) at Mars Lakeview Arena on the campus of The Mashall School in Duluth, MN. The Tigers defeated the number 9 seed Mora-Hinkley-Finlayson Mustangs by the score of 5-1 to advance to the 2A Quarterfinals. Thursday's meeting between the Hilltoppers and Tigers will the the first time the two teams meet during the 2006-2007 Boys Hockey Season. Thoughts or predictions on this 2A match-up?
Sauk should be able to make it to Blaine. Pine City appears to have an inflated record due to poor SOS. Their losses have come to mediocre teams at best.
GB, The RC team did not like some of the physical play of by Stauber. He had a couple matching penalties and had four total near games end. RC player decided to fight him and Stauber ended up with his fifth. So, he sits out. Mausolf has struggled with his health all year. DNT said he would be ready for the start of playoffs. I heard for the semis. Looks like top 2a teams are getting healthy, just in time.
i think they could "3-4 yrs ago" but they are a young team and it was a nice step to beat a team by a decent score for this young squad hopefully the next few years they keep progressing i wish them the best but ill take DM 8-0 w.o there top 2 guys....
is this even worth going to?? 2 good guys are out, and the play a crap team that will be running time... almost thinking i wanna save my 7 bux for the great double header at the decc on saturday
I give princeton 1 lucky goal in the beginning of the third but it's gonna be nothing against our 10 goals... i belive with minimal effort marshall will be in the double-digits, as we have seen a team better than this and completely drove them into the ground
mj79 wrote:what teams would u be talking about??. central St paul academy??? other than that u didnt pound anyone better this year.. And princeton beat em both
Beat Central 13-0, i do believe they are ranked higher in the section
