C-town, trailing 1-0 starting the 3rd period, took it to Warroad and out shot them 16-4 in this period to win 3-2.
The Pirates outshot the Warriors 28-15. This game was very close, as it was tied 2-2, until C-town scored with 4 minutes to go.

It was an exciting game! Warroad came out to play hard in the first period and kept the pace going strong. It could have been a much higher scoring game for Crookston as they did have quite a few scoring opportunities. My only regret is that I would have liked to clone myself to see the CEC - GRG game. Congratulations to all four teams for having an outstanding season!

Congratulations Pirates! Good Luck at State! Remember this isn't basketball where you want 3 people to touch the ball before you shoot! That 3rd period against Warroad was proof of that! Shoot the puck and get the rebounds and you girls will do just fine
