Bantam A District 6

You should consider getting your facts in order before making such a joke of yourself with immature and uninformed comments.
I recorded the game and have the tape of which the Chaska parents supposedly looked at (they didn't see it and did not ask to view). The net did not move till after the celebration started. There is also a digital camera sequence that shows the same thing....net on, no 'hacking'.
As far as the hacking.......well, if a player does not get a whistle it would be prudent to try to score.....however, this goal went in with one push.
As for the penalty....when a ref sees a player tripped to the point of flying horizontal though the air, it should be called, whether its at the beginning of the game or OT.
I would consider posting the video on youtube but your bias is so evident in every post, I think that the entire audience on the forum sees through your need to beat up every win thats not yours.
Maybe from Edina heh?

As much as losing to Jefferson hurt gopherhockey06 you should feel good about your team as you guys (Chaska) have a great team. Having watched all the games I think the honest reality is that Chaska, Jefferson, and
Tonka all beat each other at some point during the regular season and it showed in the playoffs that anyone of them could have been the third seed out of district six. All games between the three of them went down to the wire and they all had some bad breaks both on the ice and off. I think Jefferson had one player hurt who didn't play and I heard Tonka had 5 guys including the entire first line skating who were very sick with flu. In the end everyone knows the D6 tourney is a preview to the state tourney. No one disputes its the toughest district in the state and EP, Edina, Chaska, Tonka and Jefferson all had great teams this year with EP being the only clear standout which is correlated to the their numbers in their total talent pool. Good job by all this season!

I agree a lot with topshelf3. I'm not saying Chaska isnt a good team at all, but (gopherhockey06) really you don't need to be so bias and be such an ignorant person that you cant see through your own favorite teams.

Edina 5
Jefferson 0

I hate to say it but it was the worst display of sportsmanship I have ever seen, and mainly from Jefferson. They had at least 3 10 minute majors, and many penalties [all which were legit penalties]. Edina had their fair share of penalties too in the first period. The players from Jefferson were running players, slamming sticks, throwing sticks in the penalty box, and one of which swore to the ref. And then at the end of the game, a player from Jefferson flicked off the reff...Even Jefferson coaches were getting out of control. As bias as I may sound it IS the truth. I recognized Jefferson to be a classy team that plays a fast-paced, clean game of hockey, but I guess I was proved wrong.

Edina dominated in pretty much every aspect, but Jefferson ran their PP very nicely. Should be fun to see how everything plays out.

Edina playes EP tomorrow (Saturday) at 4 pm on the olympic sheet.

Ya Edina won 5-0.

Jefferson had 44 minutes of penalties and Edina had 18-22. Jefferson looked like they were going to kill someone out of pure anger.

About 75% of what was just said is true. It was poor sportsmanship but not only by Jefferson. Both teams were taking runs and it just had absolutely no flow to it at all. Jefferson looked like they were about to blow up and kill somebody, which is the first time all year I've seen this out of them. It wasnt classy, and it wasnt hockey. But, I do have to say, the refs out there sure made it a comical event with some calls they made.

Guess what people...if Edina loses to EP which I believe will happen, we get to see Edina and Jefferson play again the first game of Regions in the West Region. Its gonna be a show.

Regular season? EP twice both very close games and then Jefferson early on in the season. But in playoffs they lost to EP in another close game and beat Jefferson twice.

Why does everyone on this board blame refs for the outcomes of games? They are just out doing their jobs. Give them a break.
