Jacks will win this by 2. My prediction, Elk River 2 Jacks 4.

Jacks, look out for the infamous Elk River breakout. D flips it high in the sky to neutral ice. Forwards try to skate under it and go. You won't see another team in the state try that breakout nearly as much as they do. I don't think ER can do a straight D to forward tape to tape pass.

Sarsland runs the only puck flip summer clinic in the state.

Yea, I did, I was just being dumb. Seeing if my team can even over come even a jinx. So sorry to offend you so.

And yes, Sarsland boozes with the players. Very clever.

Tomorrow will be a great close game. Either team could win, we'll see who gets the right bounces at the right time.

Timmyo, did I see you at the Rogers/Champlin Park game yesterday? I thought I saw you on my way out.

I was, indeed, at the Forum last night. Good atmosphere, saw alot of people I know and like, and saw a very entertaining hockey game.

PS - Breakout, now that's funny stuff

I didn't mean anything about the Sarsland/booze comment. Timmyo seemed pissed. My bad. He seems like a pretty solid coach who's obviously doing something right with that program.
Back to hockey. I agree, this will be a great game. Does anyone know how many times these teams have met?
Also, and internet broadcast to speak of?

I can't think of any meetings in the last...7 years. I know in the 00'-01' year they played in the same holiday tournament the "Hastings Holiday Shoot-Out" but the teams never met up in the brackets.

According to Section7hockey.com, KDAL out of Duluth will broadcast this & the GR/DE game. Good news for us metro folks who aren't planning on making the trip to the DECC.

The shady bunch has that huge hummer to get us there. M0 will be in full force. Gonna stop at that C-store just outside of Cloquet, buy M0self one of those Big Bomb Burritos, heat it up for a minute or so, then sit next to GR19 (thanks oldtimer). That should be a gas!!!!

timmyo wrote:Quickgym and Lumberjack you're way out of line. In neither post do I sense even a modicum either humor or intelligence. Chat up the game all you want; opine on players' skill (or lack thereof) all you want. Evaluate Sarsland as a coach till you're blue in the face. But at least display some semblence of decorum. Ding dongs.
Hey timmy :-s what's wrong with goin' to the "Toga" :?:
