I tell ya, the DECC is not a place the Elks fair very well. They lose for the 2nd year in a row in similar fashion. Sounds like it was a good game.

Nice, will Tyler Johnson be able to go full throttle in the next game or at state provided they make it?

He played on the Cloquet power plays as well as a handful of even strength shifts.

Congrats to both teams- Congrats to Tyler Johnson. It's important to have players like him playing a role in the post season. These chances can be real hard to come by.

So, Who One??

I am guessing Brodhag is on the bus home with his tail between his legs thinking if he stayed at CP he would be in the section finals in the 4AA this year. But as the story goes, he will play Jr's next year and then a life of burger flippin' in Anoka as he will never be welcome back to Champlin. So as they turn the page on another year of "transfers" just remember, you could have stayed and been a big fish and played for a section title, or drove to Duluth and lost to CEC had have a long drive back to a comunnity that is laughing at you for leaving. Yes you scored the game winner against them, and had a good game at CP. but remember.....Go Quinnipiac!!!

Tyler played on the PP, and then had maybe 3 even strength shifts in the third. Sever Lundquist was great and scored two huge goals. Tyler's goal was amazing. Congrats Elks on a great season. Cloquet, we'll see ya Thursday night.

Is this kid for real? CP would have been in the same position they are right now even if they had him because the rest of the team (goalie included) is shaky and doesn't know how to stay out of the box.

And I was wrong BIAFP. Wow. Got me there.
