The pressure is on both teams. This is the section tournament. They're just kids. I doubt EGF feels anymore pressure than TRF does. TRF has had a hard time scoring goals this year. The fact that they scored 6 against DL the other night is comforting im sure. BUT they let in 5. Hunt has to play good NOT great like he did against Moorhead. Listen folks, TRF has more experience. About 5 or 6 of those kids played at State last year. How many kids from EGF have done that? Zero. I watched the game in TRF between these two teams, and TRF has more talent. What they can't do is waste all there energy early in the game and allow one little play to turn the momentom to EGF like last time. EGF is playing good right now, they are on home ice, they sweept the prowlers this year and yet, I can't see them winning tonight. My prediction, as stated earlier: TRF wins in OT(s).

I believe this one boils down to who can stay out of the box! TRF has the edge on the blueline and EGF the edge up front with the forwards. So that leaves the game up to the G-men. I truly belive that Hunt is a total head case and looked very scary the other night against DL. He is a total head case (Wow is he a head case). if EGF can some how shake him early it will be over by the third period.

AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE!!

EGF 5

TRF 3

Is EGF still called the Green Wave?

TRF are the Prowlers, I recall.

I have been gone a long time.

The BOTTOM LINE for me is if KTRF has their "rebuffering issue" figured out yet.

I'll assume that will be the only web option for this evening.

trfradio.com will be the webcast.on "air" tune to 1230 on your am dial. this game will be trf .as Ive said before this team is dominated by seniors who have been in playoff situations before, they realize if they play, they stay,if not ,,well they go away , and will live up to that challenge to win 3-1.

No kidding the other night was horrible. I am not a technological wiz but how hard is it too stream something without rebuffing every minute!

I used to get Channel 8 out of Grand Forks a lot better when I put tinfoil on the rabbit ears or just by rapping the top of the set a few times. Unfortunately neither of those primitive techniques will help me this evening. "I guess this is what we call progress" (packerboy).

I contacted the TRF station after the DL game and told them of the problems and the frustations of many hockey heads trying to listen. They said they would look into it. Hopefully it's a simple fix and was taken care of but I can't tell you.

And, I wasn't willing to take the risk tonight - I had my contacts hook up a radio and play it directly into the PC. You have to set up a voice conversation using instant messanger...we use MSN messanger. I did this last year as it was a must hear finals, and it was great. You have to have contact in the local radio area willing to help you out.

By the way, TRF by one tonight. They know they will have to leave it out on the ice and are willing to do that again, and take it one game at a time.

trf definately needs to work on their consistancy issue. when their hot (eg. tie against Moorhead) they could wipe the floor with egf. Although, I would worry about having a team that inconsistant representing 8A, I'll take the Wave 3-1.

My web radio thing is starting to rebuffer now. I am guessing it is something with a lot of people on their server? Only a guess  . It was going perfect for the whole first period now its messing up from the start of the second.
