Thanks to M0's colorful call of the Alex/FF game last night, I can't go with Fergy in the final.

What kind of point would beating FF 7-2 make? Fergus Falls is a below average team in a well below average section. There's not two good teams in this section so it's been Little Falls and the other 7 the whole way. Not trying to be negative but just stating my opinion. The only point Little Falls can make is winning a Quarter-Final game at state. I think a 7-2 win should be expected of the Flyers.

The two come late and they smother FF-your right they should win, but look at last two weeks the Flyers are getting additional scoring from lines 2-3.

They may not be an elite team wolfy but they aren't below avg. Beat Brainerd and Bemidji. PS2 of 17.08 makes then slightly above avg.

The only point Little Falls can prove in this game is that they have defense by shutting out the other team. Otherwise, they are expected to win, so they aren't proving anything.

That was very good broadcasting by Mo during the Alex/FF game. Can we expect the same thing on Thursday Mo? I loved it. I still don't know if a shutout for LF would turn many heads.

LF 6 FF 3

LF vs. FF

Post by maddangles »

It won't be a blowout.

I'm not saying FF will win, but it WILL NOT be a laugher. The Otters haven't been to the finals in 4 years. They won't let this slip through their fingers w/o a fight. Coach Donahue will have his boys ready.

LF-4
FF-3ot
(I hope I'm wrong)

GO OTTERS!!!!!!

You certainly can't say much at all about this section when Fergus Falls makes the final and the very mediocre Sartell and Alex squads make the semi-finals. TThe winner of this section should get the 8th and final seed at state.

so bluegoose....If Duluth Marshall or St. Thomas was in this section should they get the 8th seed? You make a very bad generalization.

4A Final

If FF is going to challenge in this game they have to minamize LF's goal production and speed and find a way to score more than two or three times. FF is by no means a pushover and could pull this off by taking advantage of an average LF defense and their young goalie. If FF racks up a bunch of penalties this contest will be a blowout. Gotta believe both teams will be in high gear, should be a fun game.

Besides that, there is a thread already about LF seeding...should they win this one. Pretty simple here, just pick a winner.....
