Edina is going to destroy Eden Prairie. It is the year for the Hornets. It will be a blow out too like 5-1 or something crazy. Edina is bringing the cake to state this year. Most people are guaranteeing it already. This year Edina>Eden Prairie

Although I know it will be tough, I will be a HUGE eden Prairie fan thursday. These Giles lovin'....hatin'.....now lovin' Hornet idiots are making me sick. The only thing worse than seeing these Giles lovin'...hatin'...lovin' Hornet people is sitting near Rob Leer at their games. He's the most obnoxiuos person I've ever seen and heard at a game.

Most obnoxious person you've ever seen huh? Does he wear really obnoxious clothing or something because I'm pretty sure that makes no sense...No way in hell EP will hold Edina to two goals, even if their goalie is hot. The closest this game will be at the end is two goals...

Leer's dad isn't that bad. He is loud and passionate about his kids hockey. He just has a booming voice and says things that don't make sense, but he really isn't very obnoxious.

Also, the loving-hating-loving thing happens with many coaches.. look at Glen Mason and Brad Childress...so if you are a fan of the Gophers or Vikings, you are being hypocritical and many high school teams have situations like that . If you win, every things good, if you lose every things bad. That is the way it works if you are playing competive sports.

The Hornet idiots have won a lot of games and know how to make a lot of money.

The fans can say whatever random crap they want to good or bad as long as it doesn't go too far. It's not like every word is going to be positive or every word negative. When two teams a re playing your going to love your team and hate the other team. There is at least a certain level of respect after the games. Just because you hate something doesn't mean your literally going to harm them. It's just something to based the rivalry off of. This is hockey. You have to battle them with words and players have to play them. If your going to talk, might as well be able to back it and have some pride with your preformance otherwise you might get embarassed.

No, you're right. I just got back from hockey practice, actually (my team's a collab of 3 schools) and anyway there are like 5 kids on my team from EP, and we each give eachother crap, but its all in good fun

I'll bet most of these band wagon Edina people on this thread were on the get rid of Giles band wagon prior to the season starting. From what I heard, there was a huge effort to oust him. That effort was led by some prominent hockey people.

Maybe some of these people will realize that Giles was a good coach in the first place. He just didn't have the talent the last few years.

Now, the band wagon jumpers have jumped from one popular train to another.
