It was at the Blake Super scrimmage thing...30 minute scrimmage of different situations. This wasnt even close to a game. It was also the first week that all the kids got together. So i wouldnt base anything off of this. STA won of course. But it doesnt matter, that was at the beginning of the season. This is now

Yeah, but we don't.

I'll explain my point with an example. Say Orono lost 1-5 and 4 of St Thomas' goals were while working on special teams while they had the man advantage. Well, if Orono is a team that spends around 2 or 4 minutes in the box a game, this isn't a realistic scenario.

All of this is made up and just an example, but the point is there. Which is why I asked questions about it instead of presuming I knew something I don't.

Don't worry, we all presume you know nothing.

STA will win this one, the haven't lost since january 11 and they will keep that strek up and even if orono comes out flyong sta will stay in it, they have 3 lines that can skate with oronos top 2 lines, sta is a deeper team, crandall will have to play good though but i know Mr. tioght will

Sta 4
Orono 2

So, I say an STA win means nothing and you say I know nothing? At least be consistent. But, like I said, it means nothing, as just about all do.

Orono will take this one, but it will be a sick game. I can guarantee you that Theo (Taylor Peterson) will come with his game face on. And you best watch out for Randal and McClure...they've got a chip on their shoulder from last year and they'll pump out goals 'till it hurts.

Petereson did not impress me at last year's state even though all the Orono fans built him up like the next coming of Ken Dryden. Come on, Schroeder scored on him one handed. (Great shot but should have been saved. Crandall has matured and from what i have seen STA might be even better then last year. (Way more depth. Only thing is Schroeder.)
My pick is Peterson self destructs in the second even though STA is up only 3-1. In the third, STA pumps in two more making it 5-1 but the shots are almost even. Diffrence in the game will be Crandall. If he plays like he did against Hill, they will be very difficult to beat. If he blows up, an upset is possible. Still, STA 5 Orono 1 shots STA 31 Orono 24. 8)

haha (Bentcage) yes peterson impressed me last year for sure, way more then Crandall. It was a goalie matchup last year and peterson should of came out on top he was on his game and crandall wasnt.

STA's rebuilding from 3-24 in 02-03 to 25-5-1 and a state A championship in 05-06 is often overlooked. If they come through again this year will the consider moving up to AA?

STA 5 Orono 2 Who was the last back to back class A champ?

STA keeps acquiring talent, the least they could do is move up to AA to justify their new players. Does it seem strange to anyone else that there is about 3 seniors on the team?

Just remember this, "They can leave and quickly as they came."

STA will win this one. Peterson is very good and prolly one of the best in the state but i don't think orono's actual skaters are good enough.

STA 4, Orono 1 on ENG

And is Peterson a Junior or Senior?

Aside from Jefferson, no one has yet to win back to back class titles.

I love how it's all the people with under 10 posts who keep coming on and claiming a team should opt up because they are private and good, but yet other privates who have been better for longer are fine in the CLASS they were ASSIGNED. Not a tier system anymore people.

Hey Hockeywatcher I have a job!

What is your point hockeywatcher? You have made 12.12 post per day since you joined. Does the board now have a post per day requirement to make observations? If so how many do I have to post before I gain your respect? 2 or 6 or 10 per day all of them clever and insightful? If you really want my opinion all schools withour district boundries should be at the top class in every sport.
