Hey Daddy'sMoney, youz citiots don't know what heat is If these Rapids kids come home without hardware there Grandpas, Dads, Uncles and Cousins are pissed at them until next season Your Cake Eatin' Hornets get an Escalade and a summer pass to a golf resort in the Brainerd Lakes Area, no matter what

Wow. Could that be considered a verbal arse kicking to all of the richies from Edina?
When was the last time the Thunderhawks beat the Hornets anyway? Grand Rapids didn't seem to be able beat Roseau, Eden Prairie Duluth Marshall (Class A), or Moorhead.
Eden Prarie- How did you manage losing 3-0 to them if your so good?
Moorehead- Come on, you lose to a team that doesn't make state?
Duluth Denfield- You tied a Class A team
Duluth Marshall- You lost to a Class A team
Roseau- There #2 in the state. I guess only Moorhead could beat them. Oh and you guys can't beat Moorhead. So what makes you so confident against Edina.
Edina- You can't beat the Hornets when you make mistakes and deflect the puck into your own net. I wouldn't be suprised if it was a soft goal that the goalie knocks in while trying to clear and it bounces off the Grand Rapids defensmen into the net during a Hornets line change.

I don't think you want to fuel the fire up north...

This must be a joke...I have said nothing to fuel fire down there.

Eden Prairie-without White, Morse, Cone, Palkki--Brooke stood tall
Moorhead-without White, Welliver, Cone, Morse playing after a not practicing for a week.
A school-Marshall is very good, Duluth Denfeld tender stood on head.

We'll see you Thursday...bring crow.
Agreed bob... I think Rapids or Roseau are the teams to beat. It would be great to see them playing Sat. night for all da marbles.
Both Teams better be ready to play, should be a good game, I think Rapids is playing much better right now and are much more composed all around.
G.R. 4
E -2
When Rapids played Roseau, they outshot the Rams in highly entertaining, free-wheeling game that featured nearly 90 shots on goal. Roseau was better on the PP that night and that was basically the difference.
Also, Rapids has an excellent second line and an above-average third line that has no trouble moving the puck or transitioning from D to O. Their second line may not get the acclaim of the Super Sophs line, but the talent disparity between the two is not as great as some may think.

I think Edina being the home team will be key; more key is this game than any other team being the home team. Reber-Leer-Gaarder line can be matched up against White, just like they were matched up against Vranek of EP.
One thing to note about the December game: Edina was in the penalty box A LOT.
If Edina stays out of the box for the most part, Edina wins 4-2. If not, Grand Rapids punishes Edina ont he PP and wins 4-3.
I totally agree, all I have heard all week is how little respect the North gets, and how Edina is full of a bunch of cake eaters who are all talk. The thread is mainly full of a bunch of Edina-bashing banter, maybe the North never gets any respect because their fans are just as awful as Edina's fans. Both sides should learn some humility and respect not only for your opponents but also for the game of hockey, its truly embarrassing. There's nothing wrong with being passionate about your home-town, but seriously, making fun of people because of their socio-economic status is something beyond their control, similar to making fun of someone for being black, or Hispanic. Grow up.
you can tell everyone from the north thinks rapids will win. edina is the better team but anything can happen. i hope edina wins it would make the final a lot better but white is amazing in playoffs.
best get your facts straight before you open up your piehole botox boy, if thats the way you feel about the north tell your daddy to sell his cabin, there will be a couple less CLOWNS polluting our lakes and a quick history lesson for the hornutt9 if it wasn't for Ikola(from the North) you wouldn't even have a program!!!!!!!! All North finals class aa & a don't forget to have your butler pack your kleenex.

I happen to know for a fact that DadsMoney drives a ford explorer.
After Moorhead lost but before the tournament was seeded, I thought that Rapids was a top 4 seed with the way they finished the season. It is unfortunate that the coaches didn't agree.
If Edina's Sophomores are as good as they seem, I like the Hornets to take this game 4-3. However, beware the Hatrick White show.
Regardless, I believe the winner of this game meets Roseau in the final.
I am from Edina and most of the Edina people brought this toungue lashing on themselves. In hockey, any team can win at any time and Grand Rapids isn't just any team, they are a very good team.
Patrick White is completely different from Vranek due to one fact. TALENT. He is the best foward in the STATE. Vranek wasn't even the best foward in his conference. White is 25 on the NHL central scouting follow lists. I don't even know where Vranek is.
Now that being said, the Hornets can beat Grand Rapids, and Grand Rapids can beat the Hornets.
I've got the Hornets.
