STA... 5
DM...3
look at that, no one thinks marshall will win
DM won't be able stop STA offense, no has been able to stop them recently

In this 2007 Minnesota State Class A Semifinal match-up, I'm going to go with...
St. Thomas Academy - 5
Duluth Marshall - 2
Didn't Marshall lose to Albert Lea in the Section 1A Semifinals? I didn't think they made the tounament.

5-4 STA with 2 OT's. This could be the best game of the state tournament. At least for class A.

i think if we saw hermantown and sta it would better. the A class is really good compared to previous years. (depth wise)

both private schools, so i'm gonna have to go with the lesser of two evils. Duluth is technically in the north.
Duluth- 4
Army- 3
Let's have an all Duluth Final!!

As a private school supporter I win either way, but I am not a STA fan. So I will have to go with DM in OT.

Not an STA fan? What gives?
I think St Thomas will win, but Marshall's goalie won't have two bad games in a row, so it will be close.

DM - 3
STA - 4
4 OT
Hopefully it wears both teams out so neither will win the 'ship.

It is too bad they both can't lose the game on FRI. Although I'll pull for Marshall in a fast paced, even game decided by 1 goal.

I like the Cadets 7-5. Walters nets three.

Marshall should be able to take it, STA lacks the gamebreaker like Schroeder to break open a close game. If Marshall takes way space from STA's small quick forwards and play physical they should be in good shape. If STA has time and space to display their passing and puck skills it will be all STA. Has the looks of the classic Northern versus Metro matchup - powerful, physical, defensive tteam versus skilled, quick and deep team. I'll take the northland in this one, as the Hilltoppers will bottle up the cadets and take it 5-3.
