3AA section championship IS the state tournament.

We just happened to have a slightly "off" year if you will, talent was still good but not as good as it usually is. May i add HM didn't deserve to go to state?

Waita rep section 3AA HM! (sarcasm intended)

LAWL HOWS YOUR DAY GOIN PIONEERPRIDEGUY?

PIONEERPRIDEGUY and Five Hole Phillipi BAHAHAHA. They're a good pair. =D> Another stellar state tournament performance. PIONEERPRIDEGUY is the vatican looking for more players to hijack? Or just excommunicate Lechner?
I see the Tartan fans are crawling back out of the woodwork and are classy as ever!

they didnt pick up anyone in front of the net. I think almost every RC goal was a one time right in front. Also, why was hill going for the homerun every time? These long cross ice passes just arent going to work all game.

Yeah, it was a good game. I was there in the Band for century; on the tenor sax. Green/tan hat and white shirt w/ a sax/duck on it. YOU may have seen me be awesome on the tv. My throat bled.

That kid who sits next to me in German scored four goals. Joe Fauppel, I think.

Congrats Century and to Section 1. Your section has taken a lot of heat over the years (sometimes rightfully so) but this Rochester team played real well today. Down 4-2, and fought back to win it showed a great deal of determination. Nice job. As for my Pioneers, I've said it all along, you guys over achieved in my book. As disappointing as today's game may be, don't let it ruin the accomplishments you guys had. Another conference title and once again winning sections is pretty darn nice. Your alum are proud of you guys. Get stronger and keep hitting those books.

Not so fast, PPG! It's not time to pack yet!

Only two AA teams will finish the season with a two-or-more win streak!

Let's be one of those teams (Hill hasn't done that since 1991)!

IMO i thought it was a very poor showing for hill-murray. Century forwards were left open in front of the net all day long

This was the first time that I have seen Hill this year, and compared to the 4 years i went there and the games i have seen since then, this was the worst defensive performance i have ever seen. The defenseman were never in the right spots and it seemed the fowards didnt want to help out at all. Congrats to Century and good luck against Roseau.

Well what a great game! I have an awesome day at Xcel because all four of 'my teams' won yesterday.

Even though Century ends the Spartans season year in and year out, I was glad they got 1AA a victory - esp. against HM. I honestly thought HM would win something like 6-4. Ewing is shaky shaky shaky, but did enough....I can't say enough about Century's top line.
Grimstad was blowing by people left and right and Faupel just has a nose for the net - his goals reminded me of the ones he scored against Mayo, JM, etc...now at the tourney.

Pat Condon played great for Century....really played smart and tough and Phelps threw the body around.

My condolences to the Pioneers......my assumption is Phillippi had an 'off night'....of course some of those goals he did not have a chance.
