Is he transferring to Edina next season??? Whats the scoop...

C'mon, he has been at STA since 7th grade according to some people I talked to, and he also started on their state runner up football team. This kid has it all at STA why woudl he leave? I cannot even believe I dignified this with a response

Can't say I know anything about rumors or what might happen, but just FYI, if he had stayed at Edina, he would have been a sixth super soph for them this year.

Yeah, he would be the 6th sophomore this year, and be on a good team. But playing in his first tournament instead of his 3rd. And he'd be in the consolation bracket. He also would've played Bantams another year or two instead of varsity hockey. He also wouldn't be going to state in football this year and probably 1 or 2 more. He's also a good baseball player.

Bottom line, it's about what the kids want to do and think is best for them, but if someone gave him the chance he was given, I'd say you should stick with that team.

If Lee did transfer back to Edina he could be the only player in the history of the State Tournament to have played in and won State Tournaments in two different schools in two different classes.

As I have heard and understand, he would have no transfer penalty with either the existing rules or upcoming changes. Perhaps its time to let him enjoy his high school experience and be with his friends if that is what he wishes........

One reason he won't go to Edina. The transfer rule. He'd have to sit out an entire year. That's reason enough to avoid Edina for Lee...
