I think it will be a battle between Rosemount and Eastview.

Cretin and Woodbury losing a BOAT load of seniors 13-14 each...i just dont see them being much of a threat.

Woodbury only loses 10 seniors. In addition, their junior varsity was unbeaten in the '05-06 season so I'm sure those players that weren't on varsity this year will blend in fine.

They also had a good bantam A team this year and also return their top two goal scorers (David Eddy & Ben Goff) as well as a goalie with varsity experience.

Eastview is returning most of their players, only 6 seniors leaving. Rosemount has only 2 leaving, I agree a battle between these two teams. This is EV's core group, most of these guys have been on the team as a freshman (Maloney, Perry) and as sophomores.

either way..Rosemount returns all of the top leading scorers (Brown, Percy, Porter) and have a very solid group of returning expierienced varsity players. Looks pretty solid to me :!:

Just so you know, the goalie that "had varsity experience" did absolutely terrible when he was up there. Not to be rude or anything but the Park Wolfpack was beating them 3-1 until they put Foley back in and than Woodbury won.

The back-up goalie (Wigen) posted three shutouts this season in about 7-1/2 games and had a g.a.a. of 1.289.

Wigen got a shutout the first game against Farmington 2-0 win, Blake 1-0 win and a shutout against North St. Paul 10-0 win. Both of the first two games were very close games even though Farmington isn't that good. Blake is a pretty good class A team though.

By the way wow he let in three to Park. One goal was bad otherwise Park was going on adrenaline the first two periods. Parks season is trying to beat Woodbury. I was at the game it was a packed house.
