Goalie pads

Post by MNHockeyFan1 »

For you goalies out there, I was just wondering what some good goalie pads out there are? And what pads you where, and what you like about them?

I've looked into goalie pads a lot in my spare time, and talked to many who play and have played the position. Reebok are simply the best.

RBK's look really tight too, goalies wearing them are usually real studs

I'm a fan of the Vapors but I enjoy RBK's as well.

I have purchased large amounts of the Simmons stuff over the past 4 years. The stuff is a steal for the price. I have never had a problem with purchases, shipping or wear of the stuff. The new 993 is exceptional.

Boblee, Reebok's are a close second, only if more people wore the Vapors would they get more recognition.

A few goalies I've seen lately have those new Itech's which seem to do the trick.

CCM's were the rage a couple years ago with their Blockades and Gatekeepers. I've always like their look.

Everyone's going out and getting RBKs nowadays. I think it might be a bit of a placebo effect. Goalies hear that they are top of the line before they try them on and then will believe it once they do try them on.

Brian's used to be hot like 5-10 years ago with their Air-pac and Alite series ... I was a big fan of them. Adam Hauser wore those well for the Gophs.
That is all,

Nice, I was thinking of buying X-lites but I didn't.
