Best character on Mario 2

Post by TomTheBomb »

Who do you guys think was the best character on Super Mario Brothers 2? My favorite was Toad, as he was the quickest and most efficient. You could pull up lots of coins behind those secret dark world doors, and his jumping was very precise.

Princess could fly for short periods of time, but was very slow I thought. She seemed to be most popular, but I only liked her for a short while.

Luigi could jump incredibly high while kicking his legs like a mad man. I did like that, but he was also the sloppiest. Not much control with the maniac.

Mario was good all around, but that made his character rather bland in my opinion. I did like using him every now and then just for fun though.

What are your guys' opinions?

Okay, I will go with Mario. Since he is the only one I really knew.
The rest were kind of stand-offish.
The Princess drank too much.
And the frog, well...

Let's see, in 1988 I was in 3rd grade. At least part of the time.

Zactly. You're close to my age then. So you should know everything about Super Mario 2.

Bomber, I was in 3rd grade part of the time. When I was picking up my son or doing the 'Dad' thing.

So, I know something about it, but only enough to make lame jokes.

I am the age of your father.

That makes sense then. In that case, did you have to pick up a daughter as well?

Yes, I did, but a year or two older. Closer to your age, perhaps?

Let's hope so for the sake of society's acceptance. But hey, if not, TheBomb doesn't descriminate against age. Do tell me her interests. I'm positive internet dweebs who hang out on a high school hockey forum a few years past their high school graduating year are amongst the top of that list. It's been said that a girl will look for someone with similar qualities as their father, and vice versa for boys with their moms. Kind of a creepy thought, but I see it true.

I think we've gone way off topic... I thought there would be more Mario 2 fans on the board, it's one of the coolest games ever.

So right, but yet so wrong.
