Why are you asking this after he has given up 1 goal through 2 periods? And why aren't you asking it in the Final Five thread?

well i think he has is ups and downs, given tonight he played pretty good and i understand Lucia is playing him split time for the most part with Kellen, but i also agree with dangs cuz i think he is getting way more pt than he deserves. Kellen is solid overall and hopefully he will be playing the majority of the time in the national championship tourny

I was a little skeptical too when i saw who the starting goalie was going to be, after the last game Frazee played against the sioux.

But he played an excellent game and helped the gophers win the WCHA Championship.

I also think Kellen Briggs will get a majority of the playing time in the NCAA Tournament but seeing the game he played last night, i wouldn't mind seeing Frazee In a game or two.

after the game, coach Lucia said the he wanted to stick with his rotation. he felt that if he hadn't have started frazee, it would have been tough playing him in the NCAA's. look foor briggs to get some time in the ncaa's.

Also look at what happened the last time he played North Dakota... His infamous goal... It wasnt lack of skill... it was lack of concentration... He was ready to get back for those mistakes last night... Although he nearly cost the gophers the game a couple times in the last minute he played great otherwise... This is a great example of lucia not giving up on a good goalie when he has a bad game!

If things go as planned in the touney (unlike last year  ), and he sticks with the rotation, Frazee would would be in line to start the NCAA title game...

We'll see what kind of grapefruits Lucia has then.

Redemption for Frazee against the sue.. I think he'll remember winning the Broadmoor trophy against UND a little more than his mishap last time the two teams met..
