I think those are pretty fair and accurate rankings, the only thing being that White Bear Orange bein #2. I dont think going into the state tourney they were the best team, but it came out that way. You cant strip the champs from their title. I agree with Pequot not being in the top 20, they might have made it to state but from what i saw against Wayzata Blue and Blaine, they are goons.

ya it all depends on which game a team brings

we all saw how good wbl orange can be

jefferson bear blaine and tied ep red twice

ep black had great district playoffs

mg crimson beat wayzata blue

and the edinas both lost in districts which no one thought would happen

wow... Wayzata deserves a much higher ranking than that. After all, these are the end-of-season rankings, and few teams were playing better than us at that time. Also, white bear deserves the 1 spot. I'd suggest somthing like

1.White bear orange
2 E.p. red
3.Wayzata Blue
4 Blaine
5.Edina white
6 Edina green

Blue did beat blaine in mid february

They should have the top 20 teams play a tournament at the end of the year after the state tournament

Outdoorshcky17,

Duluth East 6th?????????????????????????????????????? Barely a top 20 team..

Rochester Red, Not a top 20 team. Give me a top 10 or for that matter a top 20 team that they beat all year??

Top 4 spots should be reserved for 1-4 in state tourney in that order and Blaine 5. The other 3 teams in state tounrey do not belong in the top 20.

In no particular order, Ep Black, MG, Burnsville should be somewhere between 8-13

A team that did not get out districts should not be top 10, could maybe make a case for the Edina teams, but would still have them somewhere 9-15

Just my opinion.

I would like to bet that if Wbl played Ep again Ep would come with a vitory. to bad the season is over so we cant see a rematch. Wbl won fair and square but I would love to see a rematch like what happen to Ep and wayzata last year for peewee A.

Ok everyone needs to understand that everyones top 5 will be differnt. As we all learned, on any given day any of these teams can beat any other. White bear lost to EP twice in the regualr season, but them in the 'ship. EP beat Wayzata in Edina, Wayzata beat them in Regions. Blaine and Chsiago had some very close games during they year (sorry cant clarify scores and who won off the top of my head). The point is, besides the obvious of having to give White Bear there credit as the top spot, I see all of these teams as equals.

Centennial Black should be in the top 20 if Maple Grove, Eagan and Hermantown were "nominated"-Centennial Black beat all three. The start of their season was pretty tough however I think they proved by the end of the season that they could play with the top teams.

Centennial red was a good team. Centennial Black didnt make the District 10 Playoffs. 32 teams went to regions, and 8 teams in the district 10 playoffs, so Centennial Black was not a top 20 team.

Based upon the teams they either beat or tied-they proved they should of been a playoff team. If you followed the D10 standings-Centennial Black was one of 4-5 teams "on the bubble" at the end of the year. (last 4 games) Was this due to FFP's? Let's not get into that whole can of worms. Centennial Black played Blaine up at Hermantown-went into the 3rd period with a score of 1-0. (Blaine) Looks like they could hang with the best!

All you could do was hit huh? Did that mean that all you could do was a Todd Bertuzzi reanactment on a Blaine player and have what one could call a youth hockey fight in the second period? Destroy a lockerroom at Plymouth, not to even mention little kids sitting behind the goals yelling at the opposing goalies and and throwing stuff at coaches that walked by and the goal judge. There is a fine line between playing a physical game and being down right cheap, and that was displayed throughout the entire BB1 state tournament, Pequot was just a good example. Moorhead is as well, but we dont even need to get in to that game.

I went to the the state championship game b tween Wbl and E.P. Eden Prarie absolutoly dominated wbl. WbL got a lucky first goal. Eden Praries first line killed wbl line and same wiht their 2nd and 3rd line. The only reason why WBL won b cuz of their physical play and luck. E.P. out shot them 34-18. If Eden Prarie were to play WBL again. E.P. would blow the out.

I think in a best of seven series (not that they should do this) wbl would have lost of blaine, wayzata, and ep
