The University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux will face the University of Michigan Wolverines in the West Regional Semifinals in Denver, Colorado tonight. Who will advance to face the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities for a berth in the Frozen Four?

The Sioux have been playing very well. I will take them 4-1.

The Hensick line and Jack Johnson can match up with the DOT line so I think Michigan will compete in this game, but I think the Sioux's 2nd line with VandeVelde and Porter will be the difference, Sioux 6-4 in a fast and high scoring game.

The Sioux can't blow this opportunity.
"The beloved" vs. ND to go to the Frozen Four.
Enough of Michigan already, they can have the gridiron, but not the rink.

I like North Dakota, but the WCHA has not fared all that well so far in the tourney.

Can you please keep us posted on the score? My computer won't play the audio and Mlps area is playing the game on tape delay.
Thanks much!

FYI: In the Duluth Area, Charter Cable is showing this game live on channel 25. It will also be shown on tape delay following the Wild game tonight on FSN North.

I know that Hensick scored the third goal for Michigan and Porter scored the second for North Dakota.

Good God. I predicted high scoring but this is ridiculous. Sounds like a lot of penalties and plenty of offense with shoddy D and goaltending.

The seven goals combined by both teams tied for the second most in a period in NCAA History. The record is 9.
