Matt Sundstrom is probably drooling over this game. He would put these goalies to shame.
True hes getting a good laugh.
I think all high school senior goalies are getting a good laugh.

We seem to be in the midst of the longest scoring drought of the game.

So that means we're still at

UND - 7
Mich - 5

right?

Michigan has been a scoring machine all year.

North Dakota's goalie actually looked pretty sharp during the last half of that period. Michigan had a few good power play chances and a couple of breakaways and he was up to the task.

They're one of the best offensive teams and one of the worst defensive teams. It's the style they've always played, it's really hurt them in the last decade from taking the step and being elite again.

If Michigan wants to get back on top they need to start by staying out of the box. The Fighing Sioux already have FIVE power play goals through the first two periods of play!

You're right. Seems like UND is on a PP every other minute, couple 5 on 3's. The Sioux PP is deadly, they will kill teams if given the chance.

T.J. Hensick just got a 10 minute misconduct penalty. NOT good for the Wolverines.
