I don't take this forum too serious.....so I would recomend you to do the same......or don't read it. By the way it would be tigers89. :D

That is great that hockey is not your life... it would be great if there was a choir field trip ........say around section time.

So KH, what is your expert opinion on how the tigers are going to do this year in the section?

Faribault is the greatest.

Of course i don't really take this forum seriously....I just get my jollies from reprimanding middle aged men who like to discuss how i will do in my next game. That's your job though right as a fan.

Shoot i know....I thought about tigers89 right after i posted, but as i was in a hurry to get to my show choir performance i was a little rushed and it was all i could come up with in that short amount of time.

I have my opinion about how we will do, but it is just that..an opinion. You have yours that your team is the best, and of course they are in your opinion. If they weren't the best in your opinion then you wouldn't be a very good Fairbault fan, or a very good father ;)

there is ideology and reality.

In ideology, I would want my team to win and win it all, I wish them the best.

In reality, I know want to expect of my team, in what they should accomplish with their talent level.

In reality, what is your opinion KH?

in reality...i think that our games throughout the year will dictate the outcome of the section. I don't think that we will know until the season starts.

They will be very entertaining games to play and watch, and i am glad for it. There shouldn't be a sweep in any section... that isn't fun at all. I think that we can both agree that there will be some close games to watch, but the outcome will depend on the teams' ambition and skill level during the season.

As of right now all we can do is speculate, and hope for our teams to pull through next year.

You never know,
I could be on that choir field trip;)

You ARE a dope...

Ideology has absolutely nothing to do with the opposite of reality.

Democracy is an ideoogy...Marxism, etc...

Nice spelling dope. Try not to give falcons any ammunition, with misspelled words. You were right on your theory, then you get dumb on your spelling. The opposite of reality is fantasy. Ex. The rest of the section lives in a fantasy world. In reality AL is going to dominate and destroy the rest of the section :P :P

Albert Lea is the greatest. :)

Because we are better than everyone else, at every position, in the section.

Because we can not lose in tier 1 in the cities.

AL won again in Tier 1 3-1 over Schwans Blue.

Hey falcons,
How did the game between the Southern Express and the Pink Panthers turn out this weekend???

Do we have a wager?
As of right now I can not take your bet. Although, I am feverishly working to find a replacement for christmaseve. That's a tall order, but at this point they'd take ANY goalie.

My friends and i usually look on this forum at school because we think it is interesting to see what you people (who are trying to live vicariously through us) have to say about us.
By it's nature, this forum will attract some people who are passionate, perhaps insane (falcons89, ZAMBONI) , about hockey. I know people who are more passionate about the game than me, I know people who are less passionate about the game than me. That is irrelevant, but what is relevant is their enjoyment of hockey. Personally, I assume the people who frequent this site are hockey fans and truly enjoy hockey as much as me.

I spend some of my "free" time (which comes directly from the time I have available to spend with my own family) to coach squirt age players, even though I DO NOT have any children involved with the AL Hockey Association. I do it because I enjoy it, I do it because I want to see AL hockey succeed and frankly, I do it because I owe it to the hockey association for all the joy "they" provided me when I was a player. A bonus to all that is maybe, if I'm lucky, I’ll have a positive impact on a kid or two. I don't do it for the accolades or the pats on the back, I do it because I love it and because I am passionate about hockey.

I am a fan and a supporter of AL hockey, I assume jetjock is a fan and a supporter of Austin hockey, I assume that falcons89 is a fan and a supporter of Faribault hockey. I don't know these people very well, or at all, and considering how very little anybody knows about the others I find it a bit presumptuous and insulting for someone to come on here and say we're "trying to live vicariously through us". Perhaps we're just fans, perhaps we're just passionate about hockey, perhaps we're a bit insane  OR perhaps we're supportive parents who are just having some fun with each other by chiding one another about who's team is better :o ? Who knows? Does it really matter? Not to me, it's all in good fun. :D I know ZERO about falcons89 and Twinnesota but I would hardly make the leap that they are living vicariously through their child because of their involvement on a hockey forum.

Well stated RSI. Didi your wife write that for you or did you steal it from someone else? :P

Any AL takers for my wager this weekend, AL vs. Pink Panthers?

AL is so good, they don't need a goalie, if you can not get a shot on net, how can you score?

Faribault is the greatest. :D

Yes AL is a good team with KH, and a very bad team without her. She really carries that entire team on her back. She probably gets alot of Christmas presents from her team mates. :D

Stole it  , from ZAMBONI. No, but that was a good guess as my wife is a WHOLE LOT smarter than me. So much for work today, I'm spent :P

Get this... I was at Braemar yesterday and one of the parents from Hopkins told me that he has visited the 1A page. He complimented (I think it was a compliment??) us on our sense of humor, but he wanted to know what's with that ZAMBONI guy??? I was at a loss, I didn't really know what to say. I was a bit embarrassed though  ...Great, when people hear you're from AL they think of him...  So I got that going for me, which is nice :!:

How come you didn't provide us with any info on the Southern Express game against the Panthers this weekend?? That's YOUR team isn't it?

I don't know that RSI has anything to do with the team, directly. Be careful not to give your identity away RSI!!

AL and the Panthers play this weekend. From what I hear the Panthers are loaded with players from far and wide - Austin to Stillwater and all points in between. Jet/Austin has assembled quite a crew from what I hear. They haven't given up a goal so far in Showcase, outscoring their opponents 17-0 in 2 games. They're just a machine and I've heard they could give the T'breds and Shattuck a run.

Hmmm :-k , I wonder why falcons wanted to bet on that game and not the Southern Express game???

Good to be back.
I have read this forum the whole time you guys have been going at it. Very spirited. Falcons, get off of your high horse. You just wanna see AL get beat by someone because you know that come next year around the end of February to the beginning of March when everything is said and done and the games that mean something have been played, you, RSI, Twinnesota, Swiss, Jet, and I will be watching the Falk boys bringing christmaseve and the whole gang up to the X while Faribo and the rest of the bunch will be watching on TV.

Like I say all of the time, talk to me when it matters.

I have no idea, but apparently falcons knows something about them. Unfortunately, he won't disclose how they fared against the Panthers last weekend. falcons, who are the Southern Express?
No, not many All state players, just state champions
When I first read that I just figured Jet meant Section Champions, as in Austin...but now I understand a little better. Some members of that team actually were STATE CHAMPIONS, as in Stillwater Ponies.

Still no goalie for AL, might have to forfeit

Everyone said all of this junk last year and people saying how its not possible for a team to beat another 3 times. Well Austin did and the proved all of you that didnt think could make it wrong. If austin works hard we may just see them back up at the excel! IT will be one good season this year I can for sure say that.

So much to respond to. So little time.

Swiss, in the real world the sky is blue. What is the color of the sky in your world? Austin has no chance unless KH transfers. :D

Southern Express, I know nothing about them. Thought I would just throw that out there to distract the AL faithful. I did not realize how isolated and clueless you bunch of hicks really were. You guys should really try to get outside of AL once in awhile. The world is really not a scary place; unless your gene pool is in question.

The Panthers have been around forever, they aren't the best, but pretty good. They definitely have the most fun of any AAA team out there. I just could not believe RSI was actually considering the bet. Last year's Faribault team played them and got smoked in about 5 minutes, then Jet reined in the horses. I would hope that AL gets a good beating though. I know how they enjoy that. It once again. is that family thing. :P

Golfreak glad to see you stepped up to the plate and said what all of AL believes and thinks. You must be the only man in that town. :P You must be proud of all of your offspring on that AL hockey team.

I have complete faith in those AL girls. I'll have you know that I am still considering the wager, but need to find a goalie first. Anyone know Manon Rheaume's cell #?
Golfreak, You must be proud of all of your offspring on that AL hockey team.
WOW, falcons nailed that one, his intuition is almost magical. :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

IT will be one good season this year I can for sure say that.
It's hockey, they're ALL good seasons. :D
