MICHIGAN STATE vs. BOSTON COLLEGE
So who do you think will win the hardware?
These are two very different teams. Michigan State is the grind it out team while BC plays the wide open fast-paced game.
I think BC just has way too much talent and will overmatch Michigan State IF Schneider is on his game.
Boston College-5
Michigan State-1

WOW!!!!! What a game, talk about coming down to the wire!
I am a huge BC fan but for some reason, i found myself rooting for Michigan State from the start. Maybe it's because they're closer to home or something or their style of play. I love that rough hockey.
(and no I am not jumping on the bandwagon, i hate when people do that)
Michigan State played a tremendous game. They simply shut BC down. Lerg played outstanding also (that save against Boyle was UNBELIEVABLE). Abdelkader (sp?) was named outstanding player.
Congratulations to the Spartans of Michigan State-2007 NCAA D1 Mens Ice Hockey Champions

boblee,
Michigan State did win the National Championship by the score of 3-1. How is that an absolutely stupid post?
I went to school at Michigan State, but I'll always be a Gopher fan first. BC sucks because of my experience with their snotty admissions officers. It's as if they think they're Harvard simply because they're in the same metro area (Boston) as Harvard. Seeing those East-coast snobs go down two years in a row to midwestern teams in the finals is bittersweet!

Boston College is the back to back national runner up. I don't understand at all how they "suck."cake-eater wrote:boblee,

I haven't seen Edina participate in the right hand side of the bracket in quite a few years.cake-eater wrote:Oh I get it! No surprise coming from a Grand Rapids fan. Are you guys going for a runner-up three-peat at State next year? ha ha!![]()

WCHA REf in Final
What do you think of the job Mr Sheperd did in the game? I didn't see the whole game but how could he have missed the charging the goalie that the AR had to call?

Re: WCHA REf in Final
Sheperd always seems to have a bad reputation when it comes to reffing. All the WCHA games that i have been to he seems to ref and things always get out of hand. (SCSU vs. UMD game bout 2 or 3 years back). A player could does something and then if he did it 10 minutes later, he's gonna get a penalty. Sheperd is a not a good ref.stripes wrote:What do you think of the job Mr Sheperd did in the game?
