Some players that I know...From D6 there is K. Rau, Clark, Patterson, Rogge, Pauluk, Max Smith, Jarrett, Dobesh, Adam Robson, Jacob Meyers, most likely luis pineda and probably more but those are only the ones I know...
There is also Knochemus from roseau, and then a lot of the D8 boys like Faulk, Isackson, Gavin, and probably a few more. From D2 I would assume Rubbelke made it, along with Ben Marshall, and perhaps Bjugstad did...I'm not positive on all of these but I have a good idea.

Continue to add on to my list.

Does anyone know who made it from District 2? Also, did Max Gaede from Woodbury make the cut?

MrBrill,

That is a lame comment. There are so many kids left off this list that are very deserving. Look at the Blades team that went 0-3-1 in Toronto and you will find most of the kids are on the Select 15 rosters. The team that went 3-2 has very few kids that made the top 102. I could form a team of all the top kids not included in the TOP 102 and place very high if not win the whole thing.

You are cluless!

Don't get too hung up on 15s. Some have said it is the most political year. Also, many kids change in ability, size, etc. between Advance 15 to Advance 17. 15s is not scouted by colleges like 16s and 17s because of the reasons I noted.

Encourage those that didn't make it to have fun and keep improving their game. Size, etc. takes care of itself in the long run.

For those that made it, good luck and enjoy the experience.

Have fun and good luck!

Sorry coach. Guess I hit a nerve. It is interesting though. Not the first time with one of these 'less' political teams we've seen this. Last year ...

Politics move aside at 16 & 17 for the most part. All players should concentrate on having FUN and getting better. If you have college ability, keep the grades up and be a good person.

Also, there are a lot of talented hockey players out there. College coaches look for talent, academics, character of player and character of parents. Any of those links missing could cost a player an opportunity to play at a higher level.

For Boblee or any other Grand Rapidians among you. Whose son is Kyle Kleinendorst?

Kyle Kleinendorst is the son of former NHL (and Grand Rapids) defensemen Scot Kleinendorst.

HAHAHA

You have to be kidding? Kyle Lutzka was one of the best bantams in the state this past season.

Someone didn't do their job, I would have expected Lutzka to make the top 20 let alone the 102.

Minnesota Hockey or USA hockey whoever is running this should probably re-evaluate how these teams are picked, this isn't the end of the world for a guy not to make it, but this should never be political.

Any other players that should have made it not going?

...With that being said, good luck to everyone who did make it.

Being an EP guy I would have to say the two EP kids, McCartan and Rogge. McCartan is 6"2" big physical kid, and I heard from Rogge's dad that he led the D6 team in scoring for the weekend. I agree with you on Lutzka, I saw him play at Shattuck this winter, great player.

I'd like to see the official game sheets, b/c I wouldn't expect Rogges dad to say anything else.
