Just Wondering But why?

Why does everybody have to be so cocky about there team, and talk crap to teams and kids to make them sound good, or start topics like "who's the best kid in northern minnesota on lake of the woods" (nothing against northern kids or lake of the woods), just play the game

I'm not one to rip on all the threads like I'm some god on here, so I TOTALLY AGREE. Honestly...what the heck? Why are kids so cocky and arrogant about themselves or their teams? Why do kids care so much about their name being on here or their team getting talked about? Have some class and play the game. Hockey players are meant to be mean and gritty on the ice, but off the ice they are classy and nice people. A true hockey player doesn't do what these kids do and could care less about what people think about them or their team. They just play the game and thats that.

Yes, I am expecting an applause from that.

People become very brave on the Internet when they don't have to look someone in the eye. I think the cockiness in the forum is more a function of the fact this is a faceless, nameless place.

thank you, kids talk to much without backin it up, yeah i play hockey, my team was amazing this past year, or place will tell, but this is my first time usin the forum with a name thing but the worst is the dads that talk crap about little kids that just want to play the game and get made casue there son didn't make some team, just let it go, let them get better don't use your mouth

That is very true. You think, "hey why not talk myself and my team up on here, no one knows who I am and will never see me"....makin this forum turn into a bunch of kids being "cocky" and talking up themselves and their team, which is definitely not the point of it.

This is the sad internet world we live in now. It's internet not outdoor rinks and street hockey that most of us grew up with.

yeah street hockey is what summer is all about, or atleast thats all i do, but its brudal what they do, i made the st cloud thing, but if u made it and some one didn't, no need to brag, lot of the kids should have made it, like lutzka and aj reid and rogge and that hebel kid, most is politics but hopefully theyll change that soon

i have a problem everyone from the area i live in knows who i am on here so does that mean i dont voice my opinion no.. this board is all about opinions and we may not like all of them.
