Breakout, you owe an apology. Pull your head our of your rear end before you make another flippant comment on this board. You've always been a good poster and it is easy to make a mistake like this...but be a little smarter next time.
No apology from me. Seems to be self promotion. I am not a huge fan that.

Also, please don't tell me what to do.

That part is not in question. The roster that someone posted on here had Charles Beaton, who I couldn't find, so I thought that it might be Dean Beaton instead.

Yeah...the kid is on here promoting himself in the wake of his father's death. Grow up.

EDIT - Did you read the rest of the thread? You do realize that you said "Thanks Dad" in reply to a post about a kid whose father just passed away, right?

What a jerk. All eagle8 did was fill in the blanks to a question mark that was left on a prior post. The kid you think was promoting himself has had a very rough couple of weeks with the loss of his dad and the last thing he's thinking about is getting on the internet and promoting himself.

I seriously doubt breakout knew about the fathers passing. (Thoughts and prayers). I don't think he needs to "pull his head out" nor "be a little smarter" as one might say to a insensitive remark or one given with malice. He's supposed to apologize to the kids friend? Unfortunate situation, but a big deal its not.

He probably didn't know at first. The fact that he "continued" to say it was self-promotion AFTER he had been told the situation was what prompted my remark.

Thanks Neutron, you were correct

I had no idea the kid's dad passed. Apparently, I missed something.

My apology goes out to the young hockey player and condolences to him and his family.

Like all kids, I wish him the best and much success in the future.

For those of you on the attack. Consider easing up.

No person with any kind of compassion would attack a kid that was hurting/grieving.

If my posts were consistently negative and attacking you would have an argument.

Thanks 'burg - I was not familiar with the unidentified kids, and MaxPreps had nothing. From another string - I understand Rush is possibly leaving Eden Praire for Minnetonka - so looks like he has teammates to play with either way!

I'm not sure if that is Moorhead's Trent Johnson. It would be nice if someone could verify that. It seems to me there is another good player named Trent Johnson somewhere, but I'm drawing a blank.

Could be Duluth Denfeld's Trent Johnson....................or do they try to keep the players more regionally aligned?

Thanks, you are probably right as the team was short a defenseman if it was Moorhead's Johnson.

What's the Breck connection? It seems that they had an really young team this year that wasn't that strong (lost in first game of playoffs I think) but they sure have a lot of kids on these rosters. Is the selection of these kids by U of M people or do they take everyone that applies?

So it looks like they all play on the same team they were on last year?

this year's rosters start after the second goalie. so it will start with the 3rd goalie listed.
