What is the record ( years ) for the coach or coaches that have coached in this conference the longest? Who has or had the most years.

The answer to this question would be finding out how many years Grosso has been at Mayo and Nystrom has been at Albert Lea.

They both must be over 30 years. I don't know for sure though.

I can't imagine there is anyone with more tenure than those two.

Any guess when these two coaches will hang it up. I wonder if they both will retire at the same time. I have heard that there both friends?

This last year was Grosso's 40th year coaching Mayo. He has been the only coach for the Varsity hockey team.

I think Nystrom started in ND so he has less years at Albert Lea than Grosso has at Mayo, but more years total.

This now brings up the question of which coach is the best and which team has the best coaching staff. I have a biased opinion because I play for one of the teams in the Big9 so I won't tell you how I feel. If you look on previous posts you could probably tell where I am from and that is where my loyalty lies.
