Despite Matsui hurting Neshek, Mauer and Cuddyer will both get a chance to tie it off of Super Mario.

F = failure

Rivera made two mistakes out over the plate to Cuddyer and all he could do was foul it off. Matsui get's one from Neshek and deposits it in the RF bleachers. There's your season summary right there.

Yup, how many extra base hits did they get? Single, single single for the Twins.

Double , double , home run for the Yanks.

Its real hard to score when you need 4 hits in a row.

But that being said, they scored 6 and when you score six you should win.

No timing, no magic.

And another thing, why did the game end with the AL MVP standing in the on deck circle? The L-R-L thing needs to go away, you need to get your best hitters as many AB's as possible, Morneau needs to be hitting in that situation, not Cuddyer, move 33 down to 3rd.......please.

Small ball is fun and all, but...

A team full of table setters is going nowhere without lights-out starting pitching.
